The top of my list of movies better than the book is Blade Runner over the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Phillip K. Dick. I would say this is true of nearly every adaptation of Dick's works. For me, he is great at concepts for stories but the execution falls somewhat flat. Also, my experience with Jurassic Park was identical to yours minus being scared.
I’ve seen Blade Runner and definitely enjoyed it, but haven’t read the book it’s based on! Strangely, I enjoy sci-fi movies but haven’t really read many sci-fi books. Is there a sci-fi book you would say is as good or better than its movie? Thanks for watching!
LOTR is absolutely the correct answer, 14/10
100%! They hit all the right adventure and emotional spots
