Actually, he's a great interviewer. Being hyperactive takes nothing away from the quality of his questions. He researches like fuck and tests all of the bands he interviews.
I looove Nardwuar interviews. The Mars Volta one is a real laugh too, the guys really enjoyed it. Nardwuar knows so much music, I'm sure artists are impressed that they can have a legitimate, unique conversation with him, as opposed to the bland, clueless interviewers they're usually subjected to.
Nardwuar has the best interviews. I like how into it Webb is - man, I would be so excited - like he just cuts the bullshit and asks the deflating questions. If you're honest and don't take yourself too seriously, you'll be fine. If you think you're hot shit, he'll let you know in the most enthusiastic way that , in fact, you're just another schmuck.
Oh the circle continues, The Horrors supported Arctic Monkeys (alex is also a fan often wearing a Horrors t-shirt), Turner's best mate and collaborator Miles Kane covered a riff from The Music Machine on his debut under the name ''Inhaler''. Also does Nardwuar have ADHD or something?
