Good job showing us all the bells and whistles - and how they all get put together. Your flight looked really nice and smooth with some very nice, gentle landings. A very nice looking model that seems to have good thrust / speed.
Excellent review Will! Nice flying bud, fun jet for sure! F-16's turn like an F1 car...they earned the nickname "Viper" in a dogfight. Looks like you had a blast with it!
Hi Will, very nice video showing the details of this plane. Being just a bit interested because I thought it would just be like the FW version a friend bought and flew the other day I became pretty convinced it´s a solid model worth every penny. Just my problem is we have a gras runway and I have also some problems with the 70mm F-16. I suppose the front wheel is a bit too small for gras handling watching also that landing you had that wasn´t bad at all. Also your grass was very high but I don´t know. Of course hand toss it would be OK but I love to land my planes :) The details and the lights are spectacular like on the latest FMS planes! The lights are like the reason I would buy this 85% sure. I love flying in the evening :D Best regards from Bavaria!
Thanks for watching and commenting.. You are right, this plane is a solid model.. I have the Freewing F18 64mm and this FMS F-16 has significantly more power and performance. The grass at my field is WAY to high for sure.. Flying from grass??? It really depends on the how low and smooth the grass is. Golf Course grass would be fine. Rough, bumpy surface with 3" high grass would be a problem. I'm with you, I like takeoffs and landings.. Such fun.. This is a great 4S F-16.. But those little wheels might really frustrate you.. (Depending on your grass....). Thanks, Will
@@SteffenRC hi Will! Thank you for taking the time to answer me! Some of my planes have problems when the grass is also short but wet and thick like a carpet. I think there is a lot of resistance. Bigger wheels like my Avanti FMS 70mm no Problem! But the small futura and the 70mm FW F-16 for sure. If I get this small f16 I will probably just hand toss her. It safes a lot of power too :)
I go with a 2200. I'm sure you get a SMC LIHV 2600 that would be fine too.. I didn't try a 3300 as I think it would make the plane way too nose heavy...
Its funny.. I have 70mm, 80mm and 90mm EDFs, but this little 64mm is a blast to play with.. It's really got some power and performance for a low cost, cheap 4S system.. You'll really enjoy this one..
They are plastic. Seems to work fine so far. I got planes with plastic and planes with metal. Both have failed at some point. Not a common occurrence, but happens. I think these light 64mm planes use those plastic servos to keep it light and cost down.

Thank you very much! Its surprised me quite a bit for a 4S.. Fun plane to bash around

The best rc youtubers align! Quality over quantity defines you and Stephen.
Thanks Adam.. Looking forward to tuning it a bit more.. Really fun 4S EDF with very cool looks.
Wow looks great, you have explained it all very well. Thanks
Thanks buddy. Appreciate it. She really is a nice 64mm 4s plane.. Having a ball with her.
I like my 70mm E-flite F-16 Thunderbird. It's a lot of fun and you can't stall it. I've got to have retracts on my EDF's.
I hear you.. That plane is on my list. this is a fun bash around 4S.. Sure like the looks of it too..
Love your videos Will! Thanks for the review 😊
Thanks for the comments.. Really appreciate it
@@SteffenRC you’re welcome buddy
Thanks for the code. I just bought one and saved $10.00
Glad I could help!
Will nice looking edf you and Adam need to have a dogfight for sure with his new F-16 lol good video and flight 😊😊😊✈🛫🛬✈🪂
Oh boy.. I wouldn't last 5sec with Adam. He's an Ace pilot...
@@SteffenRC LOL I here that 😀
Nicely done, Will.
Thank you kindly!
Looking good, friend. Commenting for the UA-cam machine.
Thanks buddy.. When we gonna get you flying???? Road trip to STL.. ?

What’s the highest battery pack you would recommend for this jet?

@ right on, thank you for the advice!
On your landings did you have the asx3 gyro activated? cause i dont have a gyro on mine and i tended to get quite a bit wing rocky on landings.
I did.. I also had the CG way back..
@@SteffenRC Your landings looked good i had my Cg at 85 and still seemed a bit unstable to me.
Just ordered one I’d love the 70mm version of this but I bought the freewing 70mm artic camo so to satisfy the addiction I’ll take this one lol 😂

Can confirm it looks great in person and in the air, even with non-retractable landing gear. Next difficulty level: aerobrake on the landing! :)
Its a sweet little plane for sure.. Would like retracts though..
Did they put the 3 dollar plastic gear servos in it?

I hate to say it. I'm first??
I think PB got you on that.. But, Always appreciate the support...
