Thanks for helping out my friend & his family this week, Buckin'. And you as well, Brandon. I'm glad I had the opportunity to briefly meet you both. Thanks to those who sent financial/material support. I know personally that this is a man/family who genuinely deserved it and that it is appreciated more than you may ever know. Inspirational. Thanks again.
Thanks to the Nova Scotia boys for giving Billy an opportunity to do what he does best! You're feeding this mans soul when you provide him with challenging wood work
BUCKIN!! DARYL!! BRANDON!!! ANNNNND RYNDER!!! a big thank you to all who helped make this happen!!! Great footage thus far guys!! So cool to see how this has all came together to spread love...just good Ole stuff right here folks❤❤❤ much love from my family to yours, and glad ya made er back home safe, you and your bride😊
It's good to finally meet you, Daryl 😊. A big thank you to you and of course Brandon, for helping Buckin' out 😊 Real nice camera work, guys 👍🏻💯 Rynder, you are now part of the channel😄. Good to see you again. Love to everybody involved in this project ❤
This is so AWESOME! Thanks to everyone involved. I got goosebumps at the first camera shot of the guys in the brush moving about with their saws. This is what community is about. Love this channel!
Determination will set aside pain, doubts and age! I've needed the drifter for a while, good to see he's still driftin! Good work team and everyone involved! Brian in Oregon.......
Thank you for helping a neighbor out. This looks like Westwood. I'm the next subdivision over in Highland park and lost my home to that fire and my dog was home alone at the time and we were not able to come back to him in time. I got help to cut most of my trees down, 2 weeks ago. The hardwood unfortunately doesn't look like they will come back. Looks like I'll be cutting them all down this summer before the fall storms knock them down.
I Soooooooo Missed An Oppertunity Of A Lifetime Not Getting Down To N.S. To Meet A Legend From B.C. ! Hoping All Is Well With Your Health B.R. Can't Wait To Follow Along On Your Next Post Brother ! Many Thanks To Darrell & Brandon ATB T God Bless
I grew up in Southern Oregon, and my first tree was an 18 inch DF at 9 yrs old, fell it and my Grandfather played the forest against me, he told me of every danger that he could see, it sank in, and I was hooked, and I made few mistakes with his tooling of my now near forgotten talents. I was petrified to say the least at some of the situations he set up in the trees. There was a massive snow in 79 and we couldn't even open the door at first. Grandfather went to work and we had a trail to the truck but we weren't going any farther. Trees were breaking and slamming the ground. I was indeed scared early before I seen Grampa grab his Pro 125 Mick~! Bad Ass Saw~! He went out the door and slaughtered trees into each other and created the biggest (to this day) mess of trees falling into each other. I didnt understand it until I understood what he was doing. He was directing the fall of snow hell that would crush the Log Home we lived in, he hit the tree of my Tree Fort, (Tree House) and I knew he was saving us. As ordered I went to the basement and he came in an hour later and said we need you, I sprang to the pulling of branches and bucked fire wood jack and Jill or axe. Years later Im setting Jacks for L-Jacks like Buckins with a logging company part time in the Redwoods in West Cave Junction Oregon while I was in HS of my Senior. It was an adventure to say the least and ive been hooked from day one.
Super done again!🫶 by great people in a perfect collaboration without self-interest!! Except the top video for your channel!!.✊️ Work hard, play hard! With a heart!! gogo Billy R! Greetings mcculloch kristof Belgium!!
Lol, This video made me smile. I seen Buckin using that short handle axe and remembered him saying " I want a big long handled axe to hit the wedge harder with" I know, I know, "Right tool for the job" as they say. Sometimes I will use a American splitting maul. But for little "pecker-poles" Like this, in a lot of brush and downed trees. I still like my short handles. Bukin always makes me smile, Because I understand him and what he is trying saying, Even if he does not have time for all the words, AKA write a book for one answer.
Wow what a team you all made Brandon Daryl and you. Such a sad thing to see all those damaged trees but the cleanup went well and everyone was safe. Daryl’s gratitude and willingness to help was heartwarming. This video was just a beautiful thing to watch! 👍👍
Great footage hope there’s more of it to come . Big thanks to Brandon and Daryl for helping with the filming and helping out . Those machines made working around hydro wires much safer .
It's awful to see how a fire destroyed so many trees on, and around Daryl's property. On the flip-side of that, it makes me proud to be part of a community that helps Buckin improve lives!🪵🪓✝️☮️ Thanks to all who were able to help behind the scenes.😊
Thanks to Brandon and Darryl for helping out. If I remember correctly there were 115 homes lost in the Hammonds plains wildfire last summer. I have lived in Nova Scotia my whole life and have never seen anything like that. Thank you Billy for all you do to give back, awesome doesn't even come close to summing it up!!
Billy Ray, I gotta be honest, you working in those charred trees I thought you were Hogan for a moment. Nice goin from an old guy. Three Christmas’ ago my daughters delivered me a Buckin Special from you. I’ll be 80 in a few months and I’m still watching, keep up the good work.
Hey buckin I really enjoy your videos and do a lot of cutting myself... Get a Husqvarna c83s chain and put your sister c grind on it and try her out on your 572xp... I did this on my 572xp with a 32 inch bar and chain and in oak it really rips
Great to see you here in my home province, Buckin!! NS had a rough 2023, with wildfires, and flooding. The fires took the houses of good folks, and the floods took four precious lives. Thanks for coming across the country, to help out, young man!!
Thanks to all you fellas for making sure we all got a great view of what was going on there. Whether it’s halfway across the world or in your own neighborhood it’s just good to see folks getting together to do the right thing helping one another out.
I was down through Hammond plains and Tantallon today a lot of trees that burned in the wildfire last year are getting cleaned up many if the burned houses have been rebuilt already
Great job Darrell, Brandon, Rynder and Buckin. You guys are quite amazing to see working together. As always, be good to your neighbors and treat people the way you want to be treated. Love and kindness is free so spead it like you are running out of time to share with everyone. ❤
Shout out THANK YOU, Darrell and Brandon! We enjoy watching Buckin working his powers saws as much as you do so thank you…for givin this to us to enjoy!! And Buckin…not enough words of praise brother!! We know you don’t do it for all that…but you’ve earned my friend!! What a gleaming example of kindness, compassion, knowledge, wisdom and peace…we all that you!
Howdy mr.bucken, thanks for ringing in today, good stuff as always reverend, your an inspiration to all and God everyone can use some, thanks to all for helping the traveler, your bad ass Billy and glad your on here, heading up to my beloved SIERRA'S soon still.a.little wet up high and don't like getting stuck, going on 71 now but still got the fire going!!! The greeniacs have come back to love the loggers again, they know they can't getter thinned without us,to much for them, not enough agency in the world to cover what needs done, mill are retooling to take the smaller.trees that have taken over for the last 5o years, the thinned projects are tried and true, when the blaze get to them the fire stops!!!!so Hallaluya brother here we come, the greeniacs want to narrow the loggers now,go figure,if they would have left us alone and just offered a little direction where they wanted us we would never ever been having these giant fires!!!So took.a while but common sense finally showed up!!!! They meant good but didn't know anything about the woods, were back and look out we can fix it get the f^#%%^# out the way and help where the can,all foe one now!!!! Good stuff here as always pleasure!!! Sierra John ❤
I must say that the burnt trees have a sad ending... but clearing out an area and starting fresh is a glorious day. I have a tulip poplar beside my house i swear it wants to grow 4 ft every growing season, i keep it pruned every year so it doesn't grow into an uncontrollable monster. They grow fast and tall, then fall over. 🌲
To all involved with this project, you know who you are! I want to say Thank You!! For thinking about others and lending a helping hand! Stay Safe, Continue Stacking, Keep Cuttin!❤️🪵❤️🪵❤️🪵
