For the people asking why Ben wasn't there, the host explains it at 7:47 Ben is on tour right now, but they will have a show in PA where the current members will be inducted. Also, for those asking "why do they get to accept the award if they aren't members anymore?" Well, much like when Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, every member who was on a studio album, current or not, got to be inducted. It's only fair for the work they did for the band previously.
Breaking Ben is not on tour at the moment. I really think Ben didn't show is because there is still some bad blood between him and one or two of these guys. Just sucks. I wish they could have put any issues they may have against each other to the side. Showed up to this event, played one song together again one last time for the fans.
@@yupsure mark klepaski performed Firefly with Breaking Benjamin about a year ago and Aaron Bruch sung the song while Mark played bass I think it’s just Ben and Aaron that has bad blood now
Unfortunately I think Ben is again in bad blood with Aaron and Jeremy, oh well not just with this guys but also with all of the ex members aside Mark basically. I love Ben but at the same time he is probably a difficult and edgiest man to work with and to have around.
Great night but however Chad Szeliga and Jonathan Price absolutely had to be invited too and talk about their experience in the band or even their personal anecdotes regarding that. These are two musicians especially Chad who were fundamental to the band, Chad played in the band for at least 8 years and with him the band grew even more and exploded worldwide. Jonathan, on the other hand, had been the first official bassist of the band even when they were just a trio with Ben, Jeremy and Jonathan himself, Price played in the band for three years before being replaced by Mark, who joined the band together with Aaron because they left Lifer.
