@@ozzie1684 right?? My original thought was that nobody cares about the Ultra... But turns out it accounts for 50% of the Galaxy line up sales. Still makes no sense to me cause I honestly never see any in the wild.
@victorscsu nobody cares abt the ultra model? You must be kidding. Many photographers/ content creators like me use S23U as a backup camera because it has the best photography capabilities from samsung. Each model has its target audiences. Hence, don't use the "nobody cares" to generalise the entire community

@@euricchong8788 take your own advice , no one said "no body cares " we said we're tired of seeing only s24u content. UA-cam is saturated with s24 ultra content and some of us want to see real world details on the other 2 models.

I actually did an extensive battery test on my S24 if you also wanna check it out.
As someone who likes smaller phones, if I were to buy a Galaxy S24 it would be this regular model. Looks great with those flat sides and minimal bezels.

Just saw this in Best Buy today. I was considering the S24 Plus, but after seeing this phone in person, I'm sold on the form factor!
It's wild to think 6.2" phone is small. Considering its a phone after all, but we are all expecting to carry a mini-tablet or computer around with us all day. Kind of ridiculous that you have to use 2 hands to reach the corners of your phone (Plus & Ultra) to make a call.
hopefully one day we can a 5'9 phone from Samsung

This phone is NOT SMALL. it is exactly the same size as the iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15 regular and PRO models. Put them face to face and they are identical in size.
The S24 + is the exact same size and the iPhone PLUS and PRO models.
Nobody is making reviews for the S24, I am so happy I found this video. I wish I knew more details about the battery life. How long can it last in Navigation? How long can it last in Gaming? Do some tests and give a battery % drop per minute please!
S24 and S24 plus both have now a LTPO display which will result in better battery life

Personally I like big phones, makes me wanna use them less or at least be more aware, but if you're used to watching on 10" tablets then it's a different story

Since S23 is also getting the AI, I don’t find a lot of reasons to think S24 as superior to S23 except for the 7 Year software updates. Also saying this because I loved the Green coloured S23 which is missing in S24 for me lol.

I have the S23 and pre ordered the S24, however I'm cancelling my order. The only benefit was the 7 years OS support. Besides that both phones are practically identical in specs.
I heard s24 base model has LTPO display that can go to 1 hz compared to 48hz on S23
The S23 still has 4 years of security updates, it's throwing money away to upgrade year on year.

i love the regular as its a lot cheaper and a good size for my small hands. my S20 broke yesterday and was too expensive too fix so this is a major upgrade to me, especially as i have stopped receiving android updates

The blue colour online exclusive for s24 is way prettier than the ultra because of the side panel colour matches🎉
I have an S23 base and it's the best phone I've ever had to be honest. I'm loving it so much. But we ain't getting the Snapdragon in EU...
Loving my Exynos 2400 S24 here in the UK 😊 The Amber yellow colour I went for.
Don't succumb to the mass hysteria regarding Exynos my G's. Everything works perfectly to perfection 😊
I tested & thrown everything on it - sustainability, stability, raw performance, general performance, games, production media apps etc.
All good, everything checks out, top level, Top Tier SOC & it will only get better with optimisation/updates 😊
I also have the 24 Ultra but it will be the secondary phone kept at home mainly for media. I could have bought any phone available with any SOC I wanted etc. yet I purposely picked the standard S24 as my main phone 😊
Compact yet powerful enough for everyday use. Good camera (especially with the Expert Raw app that's available only on the newer Galaxy's) Good level screen, decent battery life, future proof & more.

It gets so old every year seeing the focus only being on the Ultra models. Not everyone wants a huge phone or wants to spend $1300 on a phone. Me personally I prefer more compact phones rather than a huge brick in my pocket. But I think for the price, the OnePlus 12 looks like a much better value for everything it offers.
I currently have an S23 and I'm really interested in the OnePlus 12, however going from a 6.1 to a 6.82 inch phone is insane. I've always been a fan of compact phones. Wearing shorts or biking with a big tablet phone is so uncomfortable when doing physical stuff and it's weighing you down. But I do feel guilty to pass up on such a great deal from OnePlus. The fast charging is a major selling point.

for someone who wants a smaller phone. i have an s10 plus and went with the s22 ultra and honestly, ive only ever upsized my phones but i think im finally deciding im gonna downsize this time round. i have big hands so ill have to see if a smaller phone will work well for me, but im ready for a smaller phone that isnt as eye catching and attention grabbing.
I always prefer the smallest of the samsungs. Currently have the S22, thinking of getting the S24 or waiting for the S25 next year. I just prefer the ability to use one hand simply

The thing he claimed is that actually buying S24 in Europe one buys worse S24 than in the USA (Snap Gen 3 better than Exynos 2400). Is it fair? Price for S24 with Exynos 2400 is not lower.

Nice phone. I think maybe best one to get. Small ,light and resolution you cannot almost see with eyes between plus model. I think they put nonsense of resolution just that people pay extra 200 like that is some big deal. Only maybe someone who were glasses and don’t see well plus can be better. All those features are just stealing money anyway.
I got 14 pro max it is like new and here in USA I cannot sell him fast for half the price after less then one and a half years. Will never buy biggest one anymore. Just regular.

Where I live the trade in bonus is a pretty good deal, makes the S24 cheaper than the S23 on Samsung stores. Make sure you check that option, even if you trade an older phone there is a substantial bonus.

How is the mobile standby performance of the new Exynos? That's what was the biggest weakness of the 2200 for me.
Exynos based S8 has also absolutely ridiculous 1% per hour power hogging at standby even with power saving enabled.

If only there were more compact phones in the market, guess this is one of the few to cater to this size format in Malaysia market. Not everyone likes a big display phone and foldables.

I went from the s9 to the flip 3 and preordering the s24 so it seems pretty normal sized to me lol
If I owned an old phone and wants to upgrade to Samsung, I would rather scout for a good used S23 series instead as the price for a used S23 is just way dirt cheap. At this time of comment, the price for a used S23 is around RM 1,900 to RM 2,300. And moreover, you'll be getting the AI feature for the older S series in the coming months.

It's not small, I just got it. It's a tad smaller than the s21, but it's a great size for a phone. I was in between this and the ultra, and now I think the ultra might be in fact too big.
