Jof, which way does the airflow arrow go? Forgot to look when I took mine out.

The arrow is the direction of of the flow, so point towards the inside of the cabin area.👍🏼

What brand did you fit? Did you go for active carbon?

The air flow arrows are supposed to point toward the bonnet/front of the van.. Not the cabin..
This may seem counterintuitive (it did to me) but the air must be drawing down the manifold that way and pushing out as filtered air to the interior vents in that direction..
There are a number of videos showing this.. (eg Filtron)..
