i like these videos. they are chill - not a lot of information and its not focused on just one thing. just a chill session with a young horse - and whatever you may experience during that ride.
Love seeing this slow and calm early training! Everything later will be so much easier for her and her trainers because of the confidence she’ll have. Great job on the video.
Wow. I don't know but : I was afraid of Cherry shooting or jumping. The first time they can be scared, right? Before riding the first time, I train my stop command several times on the floor . When I ride, I walk and stop about 5 times. I trot and stop a few times. I gallop and stop a few times. I test a lot before run.
Aimee Swearengin - great question. We typically do put a standing martingale on our young horses. Even with slow and steady training, spooks and tantrums can happen and the martingale helps discourage the horse's head from ending up in the rider's face and gives the rider a grab strap, just in case!
sandy morris She is in a single jointed full cheek snaffle similar to the white flavored korsteel or happy mouth style. We show it better in our video on bridling a young horse.

You are taking the same time/track I am with my 4yr old fresian/quarter horse... he is coming along beautifully.
Great job starting her!
Wow…how easy you make it look!
Such a good brave girl!

Would love to see a video on crop usage
She’s lovely
Thank you!
It’s too close for a round pen, how do you not get bucked? Even if we’re lunging we’re still close to their feet
Why do you start them with a standing martingale right away?
