    00:02.669 - 00:11.040
Nick Glimsdahl: On today's video, I am going to show you the difference between the Honda roofbox long and the truly force X T.
    00:12.120 - 00:26.070
Nick Glimsdahl: Large they have multiple sizes on the truly they have the sport long X and X X l today it's going to be focused on the large and the roof box long Honda part.
    00:26.730 - 00:41.340
Nick Glimsdahl: 08 l to zero E 09100 a, this is the long version and the short version is potentially another video so let's get started the first one here is the Honda roofbox long.
    00:41.820 -00:50.790
Nick Glimsdahl: I went through the process of searching for a roof box a larger of box with plenty of room for my Honda odyssey.
    00:51.750 - 01:17.040
Nick Glimsdahl: 2022 so this one is the black matte external dimensions 75.57 length the width is 39.05 and the height is 17.26 you can see, the price here is on sale for for 2194 on the Honda parts website, it is typically retailed at 555.
    01:18.870 - 01:40.020
Nick Glimsdahl: The next one is the 24th X T large, which is the roof box also black matte similar in size 74.75 a little bit smaller on the width at 33 inches and the height is at 18 inches you can see the difference in price here is 749 9995.
    01:40.920 - 01:51.210
Nick Glimsdahl: And the two biggest differences, and I want to get to the price in the side by side here shortly, but you'll see and I want to talk about here is these two latching pieces.
    01:52.110 - 02:04.860
Nick Glimsdahl: That are on each side and and make it makes it easy to lock on and unlock the box itself without dealing with school bolts and other pieces which we'll get to.
    02:07.620 - 02:20.940
Nick Glimsdahl: So here's the difference, you can see that it is almost identical when it comes to the length the Honda rough box is a 39.05 verses 33 inches so just.
    02:21.780 - 02:32.760
Nick Glimsdahl: Over six inches difference on with which is a lot of room and then similar on the height is is the almost the identical price or height.
    02:33.600 - 02:52.350
Nick Glimsdahl: That is the biggest piece right there $328 in one cent difference between the Honda roofbox long and the tool, the force X te l so with that I want to also get into the video which will pull up here now.
    2:55.230 - 03:02.250
Nick Glimsdahl: So you can see that both of them are really well made here is the one that I got I got the Honda roofbox along.
    03:04.410 - 03:07.620
Nick Glimsdahl: And I want to get to this part here, which is the latch points.
    03:10.290 - 03:11.460
Nick Glimsdahl: A lock and key.
    03:12.930 - 03:25.050
Nick Glimsdahl: These are the pieces that come with it, so instead of having the truly latching piece where it's all amount the amount in the device you turn it down and it locks it down.
    03:25.500 - 03:32.940
Nick Glimsdahl: You come with these pieces, you want to make sure that these this is on the top of the roof rack and you're pushing it down.
    03:33.450 - 03:51.210
Nick Glimsdahl: And then, this piece is at the bottom of the roof rack and it's pushing up making sure that the pad pieces are on the map these pieces here come from the top up into the rough box and then these pieces, which will see here shortly are go back in on the top.
    03:55.410 - 04:10.410
Nick Glimsdahl: So here we are all of the pieces these which we'll get to here in a minute, but this is the sliding box sliding piece, so you can find where your roof rack is and you go and align it with those holes.
    04:15.900 - 04:18.540
Nick Glimsdahl: So there it is complete, you can see.
    04:19.620 - 04:29.400
Nick Glimsdahl: it's complete, on the one side, we will, on the next video show you what it's completed on the other side you want to make sure that each side is level here.
    04:34.020 - 04:39.390
Nick Glimsdahl: And if it's not then you screw unscrew one side loosen it and then tighten the other side.
    04:50.310 - 05:11.760
Nick Glimsdahl: Nice and tight and the straps here, you can see the straps are nice and tight and what these do if, for some reason, one of these would come loose which is not likely, but it would strap and hold the the roof box in place for you to pull over and tighten it back down.
    05:19.590 - 05:21.360
Nick Glimsdahl: Again, Nice and level.
    05:23.340 - 05:27.750
Nick Glimsdahl: The pads on the top and the bottom of the real frank see that there.
    05:44.010 - 05:48.300
Nick Glimsdahl: Now I wanted to show you the video of the Honda odyssey.
    05:49.830 - 05:56.790
Nick Glimsdahl: Because I want you to take the emblem of the Honda odyssey and align it up with these two circles in the middle.
