This is the true, direct, softly intense Sigrid that the world has been falling in love with for several years now. This video reminds me of a similarly sparsely arranged and beautiful version of "Dynamite" that she did in the studio several years ago. Thank you Sigrid, for sharing a bit of yourself with us! 💛

I wish she’d release an album of the acoustic versions she’s put on UA-cam - I think they’re better than the electronic-heavy, produced mixes. She’s one singer who doesn’t need autonomy or much other processing to get the best from her songs. Much more raw emotion in these versions.

This is an amazing representative of how much Sigrid is evolving. It starts with her traditional long ponytail, denim jacket and natural look. As the song progress and her emotions start to kick in, she starts to take off all of the things she was attached too and keeping her from moving forward and growing.
Her letting her hair down was the final sign that this isn’t the Sigrid we know and love, but a better, stronger and more confident Sigrid who now knows her worth and meaning to her fans. It’s honestly phenomenal.
Thank you for explaining the video because I couldn’t work it out for myself. (I should add that I was being sarcastic, the video doesn't need explaining, my 8yo son understood it on the first view)
this version is much softer and sadder and more emotional than the original energetic track. now i can listen to the song in both moods

The little lyrical bump towards the end actually make me appreciate it even more. This version has a nice raw feel.

It’s so good to see her gaining more traction as time goes on. I was dancing in my room to Don’t Kill my Vibe and Strangers when those songs first came out. I remember thinking wow she’s special. She’s a one of a kind artist.
Sigrid is a fantastic yet rare example of a proper singer. She's one of a kind. Artists like her are hard to come by nowadays. Nobody does it better than the Norwegians.

First time listening to this acoustic version of BB and watching this video and I gotta say even though I loved the music video for this song, i think she shouldn't have made that video but make this one instead......like with the previous acoustic versions of the songs she made and released before, this version of this song is even better than the original one........here we hear Sigrid's incredible, outstanding, sublime and astonishing voice in all its splendor!.......of course we all love the original, catchy and upbeat versions of her songs but that's what basically every pop artist does........however, there are not many pop artists out there who can sing that good and incredibly amazing acoustically or even acapella, with no music at all like Sigrid does........her voice is just unique and almost unmatchable!.

Ellie Goulding,Lorde,Sigrid,Aurora,LDR are the rare gems in this present world of modern music dictated by mainstream pop. But I find Ellie a bit more versatile as she keeps a good balance between classical ballad like stuff & EDM,but does best in both.

@@lightninggornall Are you talking about her mainstream pop era in 2014-16 , her album Delirium ? When she became a cheap popstar dancing in the stage wearing costumes ? Then you should at first listen to her album Brightest Blue (especially her song START).
In 2015 she was forcefully turned into a big mainstream popstar by her management, she wasn't happy being in that role for long. She hates that album & had an issue with her management & leaved them. She became so dismissive of that era that made her to suffer from a mental health condition, Imposter Syndrome with severe panic attacks. She had to go for psychotherapy sessions for longtime. She couldn't write her songs & thought to quit music completely. Hope you understand by these statements of her in authentic newspapers-
"I'm meant to suddenly become this ginormous pop star that has dancers and glitter and God knows what else on tour,' and I really enjoyed playing that role for a bit, but I didn't like wearing those outfits every night and I knew, deep down, it wasn't me." (Daily Mail ,2015)

I commented on the original MV for Burning Bridges saying I was hopeful for an acoustic version. So I'm very pleased that this was in the works. My favourite version for a couple reasons. Sigrid's diction of the lyrics is much clearer and the delivery has more emotion IMO. The piano accompaniment is beautiful, though I do really enjoy the string accompaniment on the original version.
Counting the days until this wonderful album is released and to the days we can all enjoy it live with the Sigrid and the band.
