- Spring has sprung so we are having a potter in the Garden at Mum's today. A lovely sunny day to spend on a pond on Cape Cod. There are trees being felled, earth boxes filled, and views to be enjoyed, so why not stop by for a day in the life.

Thanks so much and yes I'm rather close to my MIL having lost my own mum years ago, she is truly a mother to me. And it helps that we both can talk about plants until we bore the others around us :)

Thank you so much! I try to be haha, tho it is a labor of love, we do like to work in the garden. The real trooper is my hubby, he can't tell a dandelion from a dianthus, but he's a dutiful son and any excuse to enjoy a pipe in the sunshine :)

I try to follow the "rule" of a beautiful flowering pot: use a triller, a filler, and spiller. 😊
Yes, we usually think thriller filler spiller as well. Mum had these houseplant ferns she loved and we like to give our houseplants 'summer holidays' so she figured they'd be the thriller haha and we have to keep these pots low as Lonnie, the family dog, loves to sit at these tall French windows in the kitchen and watch the pond and squirrels and birds, so our thriller has to be a bit lower :)
Your beautiful scenery is similar to Nova Scotia scenery where I'm from. I always say we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area. Winters and hurricane season are hard but spring , summer and fall make up for it. I'm an artist too and enjoy your videos. ❤
Good morning Donna. The garden is going to be lovely. Sadly no garden for me this year, just had one hip replaced last week and probably having the other one done in 4 months. I will have to enjoy yours from afar.
