They propably just bought a song from the song writers database that might somehow fit ITZY's image. I think the song itself is a bit average but the girls sold it to me with their attitude.
Considering one of the co-writers of the song is Hayley Aitken who writes for EVERGLOW, I'd say it was written specifically for ITZY. And I personally like the song, but I'm like PD from Form of Therapy in that I like basic pop songs.
@@ScoutOlson Yeah, that actually forces my theory. Hayley Aitken might be a well known song writer in the k-pop industry. So Stone music and now JYP bought songs from her that they seem fit for their actual girl bands. Hayley Aitken had never thought about Everglow or now ITZY in her mind to write songs about. She just provided songs for someone to perform them.
