I love Bonanza. I binge on Bonanza, especially on episodes where Adam's the lead. But I also feel sad when I watch it. Sad for something lost, and probably will never come back: simple, straightforward human stories, free from trash, profanity, and such good actors who could convey such family bond, love that made us all wanting to belong to the Cartwrights, join their adventures time after time.
Yes. They could never make this show today. It would be filled with profanity, gore, wokeness, etc. I loved how good men like the Cartwrights were portrayed. I also feel sad for a lot of things lost.
You are so definitely so right. An absolute treasure when it came to bonanza and what it stand for. It showed so many values on family. I binge on watching bonanza too. Nthg bad at all when watching this .
Great show! Adam and Hoss are the best. I don't care for the episodes where Little Joe is featured. But the outcome of the stories are awesome. There is nothing like this today.
Yet another very fine Bonanza episode, and this time with my favorite Cartwright family member, Adam. Superbly acted by all, including the boy playing the part of Jody. What a beautiful woman, Bethel! And how she and Adam convey emotion without any apparent effort... Thanks for sharing Grjngo!
Adam’s cool charm with kids is so cute. Always a moral to the story. This was when America was great and promoted values. Now…..Hollyweird says it all. Haha
I wished I could relive this back in the 60s. My grandparents would watch this every friday at 8.15pm here in Germany. Neighbors coming over and children (my parents) didn´t have to go to bed because of that. And when it was over, they couldn´t wait for Friday evening the next week. Even the teachers would not give any homework for the following day (we had Saturday school back then) because the teachers knew kids were up till 9:30 each Friday.
Same story for us in the Netherlands ,we were so happy with Bonansa and neightbours Kids everyone together to watch television cause not every family had one....nice to remember
Sorry but one in a trillion sounds very far-fetched. 🐒🐒🐒 There may have been a lot of shows but I doubt if there's even one to 2 million shows that were made during the history of television and movies, much less a trillion, however it was a very good show which I enjoy to this day ☺️
Agree! Adam (Pernell Roberts) carried that entire episode by himself ( as far as no other Cartwrights in it.). There was an episode with Lee Marvin that he carried solo, as well. That's when we can really see his talent come through. All 4 actors did a great, believable to life, presentation. KUDOS to the little actor who played JODY; he was phenomenal!
Love this episode as well, the difference one friend can make, who stands for integrity and honor, treating a neighbor as one's self, is the most beautiful example of consideration there is. Adam, putting himself out there for good reason's, the writers, direction, the script is beautiful here. Showing a young boy what true manhood looks and feels like.
You know it is an old wholesome show when Adam offers to stay and help. In reality, sticking around as a helping hand with a fighting couple? I would get out of there faster then lightning.
Bethel Leslie and John Archer were fine actors. Leslie was also lucky she could write, and she scripted some of my favorite old TV shows. Love Adam's observation: "... A gun is only a tool. No better, no worse than the man who handles it. Any man can pull a trigger. It's not hard. But it takes a big man not to pull one." Hollywood can be proud of this gem--it is part of that pantheon called classic television.
Great episode, always loved me some Pernell Roberts/Adam Cartwright, I ve always felt that he had a certain look about him besides being incredibly handsome until I one day came upon a writeup about him and discovered that he was part creek indian, how he even helped put a lot of Indian students through college so that endeared me to him even moreso than before.❤️💯👍🙂
Below here "EB" said it all. I agree. I love the series and my favorite (as many, many others too) is when Adam is in as the solo or main Cartright playing...such a great, great actor. I like Bonanza period, but Adam is my hero. Yes, in comment below EB said it all. I like Gunsmoke but I think Bonanza is the best of all the other westerns.
It's great watching a mentally healthy man like Adam. He's the only mentally healthy man in this episode, besides the short spurt of time he spent with his dad and his brother when he drove the lady into town.
Muito bom esse episódio, como sempre Adam ajudando as pessoas, e as vezes até ajuda as pessoas erradas... mas, isso acontece até na vida real, que dirá nos filmes!! Depois de errados passam a fazer as coisas certas, aí vale a pena.
👍👌👏 In my opinion respectively for my kind of personal taste the most beautiful woman in this show so far. Very natural. Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing this old series. Best regards, luck and health.
Gran actor el niño, Donald Losby, años despues participo en 1964 en uno de los mejores capitulos de la entrañable serie: "El Fugitivo" con David Janssen...!!!
Adam is a pretty good hand with the shooting irons but I still think Little Joe would win. This episode is a real firecracker, nice of Adam not to seduce the desperate housewife.
Well this is a shock there a child in this episode and for once Hoss is not around trying to make the kid like him best. Don't get me wrong I like Hoss it just got annoying every time there was a child in an episode hoss was the main guy. It nice to see Adam talking and hanging out with the boy and helping out and not hoss for once
Another happy ending. I hadn’t seen this on before. I’ve seen most of the episodes at least once and most two or three times. I just recently watched The Spirit Woman for the second time. And also The Making of a Gunfighter and The Hostage. Wonder which one is next? 😊😊😊
30:45 ""But I can get you." Not a unique line but a great one, perfectly delivered. 37:07 Now that's a great scene! Superbly done. 39:27 the chase feels strange, because it appears that they spliced soundstage and outdoor scenes together. Maybe re-using some outdoor footage.
I don't believe the character who realizes he's in too deep too late should get a happy ending, especially when they knew they were doing wrong to begin with
Another great episode. Adam was a very generous man, more generous than most people gave him credit for. I disliked Ann, though. She was really annoying. To tell the truth, I dislike the actress, Bethel Leslie, herself. Very whinny and pessimistic, even when she acted on other shows.
I love Bonanza. I binge on Bonanza, especially on episodes where Adam's the lead. But I also feel sad when I watch it. Well put.
You said that right.!
Sad for things lost. Exactly.

Great episode. Adam was strong and tough. He could always take care of himself. Yet, he was always fair and compassionate. Loved him!♥️
Yes I have to agree with you. Adam and his ways we're awesome. Great episode.
Bar. Ben. 😘❤👫
It's a shame that there are no shows now days that teach good morals like the ones we had wen I was a child
Totally agree with you!!
Adam’s cool charm with kids is so cute.
Always a moral to the story. This was when America was great and promoted values.

WOW You’re from Germany 🇩🇪 I think it’s grand you enjoy our shows 😇🇺🇸🤩
Amazing an American TV show could have such an impact on everyone's life.
Same story for us in the Netherlands ,we were so happy with Bonansa and neightbours Kids everyone together to watch television cause not every family had one....nice to remember
BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL. ❤❤❤❤❤
Such an incredible storyline.. Bonanza just makes the Old West so legendary. It's a one ina trillion show

You just had to be that guy didn't ya? 😩
You know what he's saying: Bonanza is special.
Nice to see Adam being the lead actor in this one!
Agree!

Love this Episode.I love Adam.he is very kind and helpful to the family who needed help.
Adam would have made a great dad where as Hoss is more like a fun Uncle
Adam is such a well-rounded character. Always like when the characters are seen reading books in the living room
Love this episode as well, the difference one friend can make, who stands for integrity and honor, treating a neighbor as one's self, is the most beautiful example of consideration there is. Yes that is so true! Very well said! 👍🐴💖🐮😁
@@maryannswanson3832 And without that guidance from a good man.......

Adam loved the little boy.
Love this episode. Acting, scripting and direction all first-rate. Pernell is quite fine in this episode. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching! 🤠✌📺📼
They are flowing
Why r u back

He had some good lines, another one was, "You're right but I can get you" when the evil man said he can't shoot both of them.
Great episode, always loved me some Pernell Roberts/Adam Cartwright, I ve always felt that he had a certain look about him besides being incredibly handsome until I one day came upon a writeup about him and discovered that he was part creek indian, how he even helped put a lot of Indian students through college so that endeared me to him even moreso than before.❤️💯👍🙂
Love Bonanza, since watching I have found that episodes centered on Adam to be more interesting.
Good story. Simple but heartwarming and well done.
A great episode with a good ending. Thanks.
They Cartwright's are decent care taking and loving family. Very helpful.
Yes, you are right. All the other men in this episode are just trash!
Another great show. I am so happy for the little boy that his dad came to his senses.
Adam the admirer always. Does the right thing
Very good episode I loved it and Adam played a awesome part n it
Oh my this is just wonderful I've missed the episodes with gorgeous Adam in now I'm so thrilled thank you so much ❤️
Oh my, my...and his voice...ahhhh.
My mom had the hots for Adam 😂
I love Bonanza, especially the episodes with Adam in them. But when the woman that played Ann fell, that was the most fake fall I ever seen.
Awesome to hear that, thanks for watching! 🤠👌🎬🍿
Adam: philosopher black clad Warrior
Yep, she twirled like a ballerina and then went down. 😂I don't know if they had stunt women back then...
@@misslucky5474 Exactly! One bad pirouette and down she went 😂
You can always count on grjingo to post great videos!! Every single one is always in great quality,too.. thank you so much @grjingo♥️♥️
Wow thanks for the kind words. Happy you enjoy the episodes! 🤠✌🍿📺
Good episode, yeah Adam was a great character
Another Cartwright saves a family by convincing a guilty man to give himself up. 😇😇😇🥰🥰🥰
I love this life style
Bonanza

...if we confess with contrite humble hearts, the Good Lord forgives...Thank you Bonanza.
I agree! I don’t have cable because the new stuff is usually junk.
That’s so right
Excellent episode keep them coming!
We will! 🤠✌📺📼

I love that time of America
Adam is the whole bag of Lays potato chips...ijs 😍
Love how adam puts on his hat 44:17
A sad but a wonderful thing when when the right thing happens. 😇
Splendid and touching episode!
One of the best episodes ever
Some really hard-hitting moral lessons in this one.
Adam must be the most amazing shot ever. It look like he got four cans on the first shot and one of them was way on the side way away from the others
A good lesson on life and movie
Horses... And the cloths the weared on. .. I like it
Great movie I've ever seen of the Cartwright's. MUST See!
Great story line 😊
woow...i loved it..one the best stories of all episods..thank you for uploadibg bonanza....its great to watch such a mentaly healthy classic..👍👍
It's great watching a mentally healthy man like Adam. He's the only mentally healthy man in this episode, besides the short spurt of time he spent with his dad and his brother when he drove the lady into town.

Amazing episode!

A really good episode . Thanks for sharing .
Happy you liked it. Thank you for watching! ✌📺📼
I start at episode 1 and watch them all and do the same with " the Rifleman " its my daily wind down time. Wish todays tv. Had same morals
Me too with Bonanza and the Waltons 😊
@@robinsredbrest1991 bonanza and wanted dead or alive are also amazing. No good wholsome shows like them anymore.
Great episode. 👍
I love it.
Thank you.
Adam..my my my..in all that black attire! So fine
I agree. Adam was gorgeous in that episode! And in every episode!

Classic western
I love Adam, don’t watch any episodes after he left the show.
Me neither
Luv Bonanza too
I just realized that all of Adams wardrobe came from Jonny Cash.
Adak was the man in black before Johnny
No it came from have gun will travel
Thanks!
Adam is a pretty good hand with the shooting irons but I still think Little Joe would win. This episode is a real firecracker, nice of Adam not to seduce the desperate housewife.
When has Adam ever seduced the desperate housewife? 😂
Intentionally?
Am I the only woman who noticed Adam's gorgeous EYES?
Nope. Nor his physique, his honor and decency, nor his integrity. One of my favorite characters on American TV ever.
Nope: Northseawater green..... with a touch of hazel in the centre. And the man always has pecs.....
Adam ♥️
for a minute there at the beginning, I thought I was watching Gunsmoke
Caught between a rock and a hard place. I don’t envy him.

A fine looking woman Bethel Leslie was.
Very good movie ❤
NEVER talk to a married woman about her problems UNLESS she is your wife.❤
Adam is flirting with that woman from the begining (and she with him)
Well at least this episode had a semi-happy ending.
What Adam Cartwright's Pa Benjamin Cartwright say," Look son never trust an injured a rancher who turns out to be a Cattle Ruster."
It took Jody giving his Jack knife back to his dad for his dad to realize how much he hurt his wife and son. Then, Jody's dad turned himself in.
36:51---that's what Adam's stepmom told him when he asked the same ? at age 5, when his pa did the same principle.
Why do everyone think because the Cartwrights have a lot cattle it alright to rustle some? If everyone keep rustling their cattle they won’t have any.
I don't believe the character who realizes he's in too deep too late should get a happy ending, especially when they knew they were doing wrong to begin with
Quiero ver peliculas de bonanza en español?
"it aint healthy" says the cow thief...😹
Another great episode. Adam was a very generous man, more generous than most people gave him credit for.

Poor woman and Jody....how will they survive now????😭😭
