Please don’t go to Jalan Alor. It’s a very touristy place with very expensive mediocre food. They clearly just wanna rob us. Changkat and Bangsar are famous for night life (for haram stuff lol). There are many pubs and bars there.
welcome to Malaysia. love the energy the both of you bring in your video! looking forward to see more of your adventures here. being born and bred in Malaysia, and spending a lot of my vacation and travels locally, there is still so much to see and new things to experience. I'm 48 years old and still have so much of my own country to explore still.
You have to visit Sabah - climbing Mount Kinabalu or visit just the surrounding areas, diving at the islands near Semporna, wildlife like proboscis monkey, orangutan and sun bear at Sandakan, snorkeling at Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park, eat the local food like tuaran mee, ngiu chap mee, bak kut teh, sinalau bakas, etc and of course, fresh seafood!! And don't miss the sunset at Tanjung Aru beach. Best thing to do is to hire a local driver and guide to show you around the whole state of Sabah.
I'm spending some extended time in KL, a year after your visit or video as recommended algorithmically by UA-cam. You two are so adorable and cute! I feel you've done more in a few hours than I've done in a couple of weeks! Newly subscribed and interested in catching up on your adventures.
I love coming to these travel blogs, knowing more about my country through stranger's lense. And knowing more about other places I would of dreamt to go. Thank you!!
Welcome to Malaysia. Try Satay especially in Kajang. Take the MRT to "Stadium Kajang" stop, the Satay Kajang Hj Samuri is nearby. Other food must try : Char Kuey Teow, Ramly Burger (street burger), Curry Mee, Lontong, Roti Canai (various types), Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice). Must visit : Pasar Malam (Night street market - but start in the evening around 5pm). Very local - abundant local food. Various places - seek one near you or go to Taman Connaught's Pasar Malam (wednesday only). Ask locals near you. Malaysians are eager to help.
Welcome to our beautiful country, Malaysia, Truly Asia! We have not just only Kuala Lumpur (KL), Penang, Melaka..all these cities to offer, they are known as "West Malaysia". We have another Island/two more states, Sawarak and Sabah comprise of namely "East Malaysia", well known for the biggest natural forestry, mountain and beatiful sea/islands more different cultures and friendly peopel to explore. We malaysian welcome you!
Welcome to Malaysia. Hope you have an awesome time here. Here's a list of food that you should try: 1. Nasi Lemak (National Dish) - Sold just about everywhere, they may be served in a dish, or better yet, wrapped in banana leaf 2. Roti Canai with Dhal and/or Curry sauce - You can get it at any Mamak Restaurant. 3. Char Koay Teow - some of the best char koay teow can be found at hawker stalls/night markets 4. Curry Laksa 5. Satay (Chicken/Beef) - Chicken/beef skewers. Again, you can find these at night markets/stalls by the roadside 6. Chilli Pan Mee 7. Chicken/Beef Rendang - you can eat it with rice, or if you're lucky enough you can eat it with Lemang (sticky rice soaked with coconut juice and heated up in bamboo sticks) 8. Apam Balik - local 'pancake' dessert 9. Cendol - super awesome thirst quenching dessert. p/s: make sure you stir/mix it well before eating it. 10. Ramly Burger - Ramly is a brand name for the burger patty and you can find roadside burger stalls selling them. Its a definite must try. And do note that each stall may have a unique way of serving them in terms of what kind of salad/toppings/sauce they put on. 11. Teh Tarik - literally means "Pulled Tea". Usually served hot, but if you request it cold, it would taste similar to the milk tea you had in this episode.
You can get the Lemang mentioned in a stall along the highway leading to the Zoo Negara (National Zoo) just ask for Lemang Pak Ali or along the road to Genting Highlands.
Hey 👋🏻 Just to inform you there will be Malaysia *Independence Day Parade* in Merdeka Square, KL on 31 August 2022 (from 7am to 2pm). There’ll be performances, national exhibitions & parade.
There’s a covered with AC elevated walkway connecting the city from KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Pavilion and other malls. Use that when it’s hot or raining. It’s one of the longest. Also expect flash floods in KL if it’s raining heavily, it lasts for few hours usually.
Very welcome to Malaysia :) Awesome works! Script, footage, editing ... everything are so smooth. Subscribed. And I strongly recommend Melaka and Penang, both confirmed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
If you have been fascinated with KL on your first video, be prepared to be dazzled by what you can see in Genting Highlands, 45 minutes out of KL. You can have great fascinating content for your vlog. You can stay at the world's biggest Hotel there, which has 7,351 rooms in total. Watched a you tuber vlog his trip and noticed the hotel was fully booked for the day.

I have stopped over in KL several times, and 'nearly' gone in a few times aswell. So I am keen to see what you show, but so far.... I am impressed. It looks like a beautiful and very modern city.
Welcome to Malaysia. This 31st August you can experience Independence day parade at "Dataran Merdeka". Don't forget to brings an umbrella and bottles of water since there's hot out there.
Good selection, I'd just add to avoid the norther states and particularly Terengganu where young women are caned in public. They don't deserve tourist money.
@@byteme9718 not sure where you heard this from. As far as I know, we do not have that kind of treatment to anyone, women in particular, are all well respected and protected.
You should go to Saloma Bridge and Petronas Twin Towers at night, more amazing. And there is fountain lights show at the KLCC park. Go to the Bukit Bintang Area.
I am sure you both and especially Dev would love Sunway Lagoon in Petaling Jaya (Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia) Amazxing water park. I seen a Guns N Roses Rock Concert there in a pouring rain back in 2018. They had the stage built at the deep end of the wave pool. During the other days, the water park and area were amazing.
Welcome to Malaysia guys. Glad you both are having a good time. A must try is the ‘teh tarik’ which means ‘pull tea’ and ‘roti canai’ for breakfast. Please also try the ‘cendol’ which is a sweet dessert. The best place to have it in the city, is at the food court in Four Seasons. The building is next to the twin towers. It’s at the basement. Enjoy your stay and please be safe❤️

So happy to have come across your video! Your positive vibes made me so happy to just put aside my storywriting for abit, sit back and just enjoy watching you explore the city
5:50 No big deal but u shouldn't be saying "the malaysian side". It should be the "malay" area. Malay, Chinese, Indian, Sikh, indigenous people and everybody else that has Malaysian nationality are all "Malaysian". Malays are Malaysians but Malaysians don't necessarily mean Malay :)
Talking about insane malls, Berjaya Times Square has a giant indoor roller coaster . Sunway Pyramid has an indoor skating etc . KLCC has a massive beautiful park with pools etc etc

It's pretty interesting to see the city I live in from the perspective of a tourist! To me, Kuala Lumpur is all about the fooddddd, there's so many...too many that even being a local I still have so much to explore! Each cuisine/variation of a certain type of food tastes different from one place to another, there are bad ones and good ones that it's a huge entertainment aspect to just find the best ones here in KL. Although I usually just go back to the ones that taste the best! In most cases like you would guess, the ones with many people queueing up for the food are the ones you should go for! If I had to list down all my favourites it would be overkill, but if I had to recommend one place that I love, it's O & S Restaurant(*non-halal) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It's not KL, but it's not far from KL so I consider it the same! It's mainly chinese cuisine, and the Char Kuey Teow, Asam Laksa, Popiah, are to DIE FOR. There are so many other delicacies around that area too. For drinks, other than Teh Tarik, I like to drink Cham (a tea+coffee mixture), or Hainan Coffee(some places do it best!).

Please don’t go to Jalan Alor. It’s a very touristy place with very expensive mediocre food. They clearly just wanna rob us.
Changkat and Bangsar are famous for night life (for haram stuff lol). There are many pubs and bars there.
Welcome to Malaysia and hope you will enjoy our country and hospitality. Selamat datang guys!
We've been undecided about coming here. Looks pretty great though, maybe we'll do it!
We are sure you will enjoy it here! 🥰✨

Welcome to Malaysia..we all waiting for you both
welcome to Malaysia. love the energy the both of you bring in your video! looking forward to see more of your adventures here. being born and bred in Malaysia, and spending a lot of my vacation and travels locally, there is still so much to see and new things to experience.
Fun vlog guys. Looks like a very vibrant city! 😍
LJ!! We need to catch up soon! Looks like you are having a blast in Vietnam! See you soon! 😍❤️
Here's a list of food that you should try:
1. Nasi Lemak (National Dish) - Sold just about everywhere, they may be served in a dish, or better yet, wrapped in banana leaf
2. Roti Canai with Dhal and/or Curry sauce - You can get it at any Mamak Restaurant.
3. Char Koay Teow - some of the best char koay teow can be found at hawker stalls/night markets
4. Curry Laksa
5. Satay (Chicken/Beef) - Chicken/beef skewers. Again, you can find these at night markets/stalls by the roadside
6. Chilli Pan Mee
7. Chicken/Beef Rendang - you can eat it with rice, or if you're lucky enough you can eat it with Lemang (sticky rice soaked with coconut juice and heated up in bamboo sticks)
8. Apam Balik - local 'pancake' dessert
Wow thank you so much for the awesome recommendations 🥰✨

Hey 👋🏻 Just to inform you there will be Malaysia *Independence Day Parade* in Merdeka Square, KL on 31 August 2022 (from 7am to 2pm). There’ll be performances, national exhibitions & parade.
now josie in Malaysia also right?
There’s a covered with AC elevated walkway connecting the city from KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Pavilion and other malls. Use that when it’s hot or raining. It’s one of the longest. Also expect flash floods in KL if it’s raining heavily, it lasts for few hours usually.
Ah we didn’t know this! Thank you for letting us know 🥰
Very welcome to Malaysia :) Awesome works! Script, footage, editing ... everything are so smooth. Subscribed. And I strongly recommend Melaka and Penang, both confirmed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
Wow thank you Lawrence! ❤

Yay! We are so happy to hear that! We hope you can visit really soon! KL really surprised us 🥰
if you stop over in klia, you can always take a train to kl sentral/nu sentral from both klia 1 and 2 and explore the first place they visited...

Good selection, I'd just add to avoid the norther states and particularly Terengganu where young women are caned in public. They don't deserve tourist money.

You should go to Saloma Bridge and Petronas Twin Towers at night, more amazing. And there is fountain lights show at the KLCC park. Go to the Bukit Bintang Area.
We definitely will! Thanks for watching 🥰✨
Hey guys! So glad you are back and in our lovely neighbor... have a great time there... enjoy and always take care!
Beautiful couple.. welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾!!
If you go under the basement of KLCC you will able to eat the various Kuah or dessert from the Malay Culture. Most people miss these dishes.
There's a big celebration coming up Malaysia's independence day at Merdeka Square....something like 4th July USA. So be sure to head out and join the crowd for this live eventm

Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 Shev & Dev 😁
Omg i missed you guys almost 2 months! Just saw this vid !!! Both of you are amazing host. The camera work is fantastic. Pls come back to Malaysia.
You already blown away by the mall in Malaysia? I'm looking forward to your reaction when you found a freaking theme park in some of the mall🤣🤣 i forget to what shopping mall have it but still looking forward to it, if you feel tired about the hot weather in KL, try going to Genting Highland and Cameron Highland in Pahang, should feel like a New Zealand there🤣🤣, Cameron Highland is what you will expect to have like the biggest tea plantation in Malaysia and there's also strawberry farm, then you can go to it's neighbor Genting Highland, there's two way to go there,by a car or a cable car,i recommend a cable car for the view,up there you will found the biggest hotel in the world which is First World Hotel and of course Malaysia biggest theme park in a freaking up of the mountain, don't forget to bring your sweater if you go there
The mall with the theme park in it is called The Berjaya Time Square. Somewhere in Bukit Bintang.
Welcome to Malaysia. Enjoy the convenience of not having to use Google Translate as English is widely spoken here. Love your contents, keep it up!

You have to try all the food in malaysia it's amazing.. Beautiful places.. Diverse culture.. Explore this very unique country... 😍😍😍😍
Yes so true 🥰
Enjoy your travels Shev and Dev,,, peace and happiness to you for a lovely video,,,
Thank you so much 🥰
Come to east cost malaysia..more traditional..and beautiful beaches
