Former Agricultural University and Traditional MC College. To the west is the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
সিলেট মহানগরীর প্রাণকেন্দ্রে অবস্থিত একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পয়েন্ট। এর উত্তরে বিমানবন্দর এবং সিলেট আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম রয়েছে। এছাড়াও রয়েছে বাংলাদেশের প্রথম চা বাগান 'মালণীছড়া'। দক্ষিণে ৩৬০ আউলিয়ার প্রধান হযরত শাহজালাল ইয়েমেনী রঃ এর মাজার। এছাড়াও আছে সিলেট সরকারি আলিয়া মাদরাসা। পুর্বে কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং ঐতিহ্যবাহী এম সি কলেজ। পশ্চিমে রয়েছে শাহজালাল বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
