Honestly, I came to find mistakes in his review, but ended up learning a few new things instead. I’m sure I’m not the only one that wants GeekyRanjit to review more cars now. Best Indian tech UA-camr, hands down.
It's always like that my personal car none of my family members or even the drivers are allowed to drive. I had done only 18K on my Honda Civic when I sold it :) The Tiago gets driven more for regular city jobs which is driven by my driver as I hate driving in the mad city traffic.
@@geekyranjit anyways nice to see that you are working on cars. These days you've been considerate to some the important problems of your viewers, special the one on which you explained so as how much should be spent on a new smartphone. You really stand apart amongst all the other tech reviewers.
@@geekyranjit We have alto car,and go at a speed of 120kmph.But haven't thought of sudden braking capability of our car.Still dont know its braking capacity.Verna is my dream car🤩🔥
@Arun Kumar It's not like you cant go above 120 Kmph in the Verna seen several older UA-cam videos where ppl have driven it around 150 kmpl easily but I don't feel it's good idea to go over 120 Kmpl even on highways coz it just didn't give me that much of confidence going above that. I am super careful when going at highway speeds coz it's not just me but I generally travel with my family and speeding just for the sake of it is never a good idea.
6000 km in 2 years. Pretty common for those who work at home. Mine has been around 13k in 3 years. The service advisor is constantly advising me to drive more for the better efficiency and long term good condition. Facing some issues like tire cutting, steering wheel etc..Good review btw. Shining in automobile field too 👍
I have petrol Verna fluidic manual SX(O) variant. It is a good car to drive on highways. Even the car is easy to manoeuvre in city traffic . You can say that steering is light but you can’t say the same about high speed driving . Acceleration is linear and one can easily overtake at high speeds. After front and rear suspension change by Hyundai service center under warranty(Hyundai Technical Service Bulletin), the ride and handling also improved a lot. In fact, 4 disk brakes on the car only boosted my confidence to drive at higher speed. In the end, One word to say about it. The car is a gem for me.
I really appreciate the wide scope you are getting this channel into. Now, its really becoming a true tech channel. Do broaden over more topics like A.I etc
My brother had covered 36000 kms in around 7 months in his polo diesel. 6000 he had covered in less than a month. The car is very surefooted. Overtaking is just amazing, pulls fast from 2000 to 4500rpm. I once passed 3 trucks going together on my 250km trip was amazed with the overtaking speed. Diesel torque is amazing, electric cars will be way better. Just need a fast electric car like teshla in our country.
I own the same variant of Verna, really satisfied with the car and service. yes, i agree, the steering is too light for highways, and the transmission is too sensitive, it downshifts even if i press the accelerator a little harder than normal, which sometimes make the passengers nervous as the engine starts making noise. I haven't faced that foul smell from AC vents, and I've been getting similar fuel economy, as it's petrol it's expected, the best thing about the car is ventilated seats, infotainment system, cool design of both interior and exterior and build quality, i think it's a value for money product, saw the new Honda city facelift, i would still chose verna over new Honda city in terms of looks.
I have the SxO Manual and I agree with you. The Verna is predominantly a city car. But if one has good control over their steering, 120-130 is a very safe speed. The servicing of Hyundai is very good, one of the main reasons to choose it over the Vento. And the Ventilated seats! Man Oh Man! They are such a boon. Would definitely go for an Elantra or Tucson next.
Why are ppl so mad about him driving his car just 6000km in 2yrs??!...😅 First of all, that translates to 8km everyday...which is not less under any perspective in Indian traffic. Secondly, it's his personal car n not an uber and he is not doing some daily job in some office 20km from his home. N lastly, he owns atleast 3 cars n quite busy to just drive for no reason!...😅👍👍
I agree on the stereo system bit, because even my Verna doesn't sound as impressive as my Tiago. Which makes me appreciate the effort Tata put into it even more!
I have Hyundai i20 2011 Model Done 27k kms But yeah in Hyundai cars i have felt that when you reach triple digit speed The car doesn't give a positive response Anyways I am happy with the Car Fit and finish it top notch And also the build quality ❤️

Expensive cars doesn't exactly give a night and and day difference from the one you have right now. But the difference lies in the safety aspect, not visible but omnipresent and we Indians don't care much about it :(
Mileage shockingly low. Agree it is 1.6L Auto but still should show some decent figures of min 13. Hyundai never bothers to address the back seat comfort. Hyundai should stop competing with MSIL and should look at VW/Skoda or a kind of car makers. Anyways Ranjit you had a good vid but I feel 6K is less to term it as a long term review on the flip side it is good that we heard about Verna from a owner rather than a reviewer.
