You def can. I'd have to rewatch this if I said otherwise. I wear it on my bicep 99% of the time. Currently I suspended my membership as I really am not finding value in it. After few months you get the idea regarding sleep and your habits so all thats left is activity tracking which I find Garmin excels in.
Very insightful video! I want to learn more about the Gym Band / Stranex device that you mentioned. I am not able to find anything about it online. Would love a video on that device or any links to learn more about it. Thanks bro
Thanks for the honest review. I’ve cracked my Apple Watch and was considering the whoop because of the new strength trainer, maybe not now. They do make an arm strap for the whoop if you did want to move it off your wrist btw.
@@joshhoulihan Yea I figured it was to track mov't but since all its doing is measuring your HR I dont see why can't wear some where else. Overall its disappointment. I figured since whoop bought PUSH it would bring that into whoop but not the case.
I think they are measuring more than just HR. Also, I think this is the first iteration. I would give it some more time to mature but they are definitely not iterating fast enough.
On this one I might have as I was experimenting with it but i did 2 workouts and its pretty worthless IMO not worth the effort. Cant do freestyle have to create aworkout, and since it doesn't do anything I fail to see why even need to create workout. It should just let you go into weight workout without needing workout. Maybe Whoop 5 will be better equipment for this type of tracking.
I don't like it either --- I need something better --- something that does not require hitting a button to stop and start, also someone needs to come up with a way to make a work out app that monitors the wgs lifted and then allows you to see it all later in graph format comparing and constrating lifts, amounts you have lifted, best lifts, etc. Why has someone not come up with something better that does everything this does but allows you to not only keep a journal that shows up on the app and on the PC but give the user multiple options for using that data in intergration with the rest of the data you are being given??
Gymwatch aka Strenx was the best but they closed up shop sadly. IBeast sensor is pretty good I just wish they would incorporate heart rate to be complete package, but i think its really only one left on the market that is weight training focus.
Hey man good insightful video. Quick question: Why can’t you wear it on your bicep during a workout?

Do you log your warm up sets?

@@RandoRafbut can’t you just do start activity and pick weightlifting?
@@rav9681 Yes now you can looks like it was changed. So that is step in right direction.
