I like this version better than the other. Xiao Shu was suitable to the age, and the actor could represent how to be a cool and cold Xiao Shu. Nice acting.
Immature FL and mature ML. The relationship doesn't have much communications . They both are hesitant to speak their thoughts to each other. The ending is a good one ❤. The story is new and nice to watch.
Sometimes love grows between a couple ever stronger as the years pass. The lead male and female had great onscreen chemistry. The ex boyfriend is like so many people they only want what they cannot have! Thanks to all involved in making this drama ❤
So personally, I thought she did a good job of being triggered and spiraling on the beach. Then throw in severe depression (we’re talking self harm) and the deaths of multiple loved ones, and to me her reaction on the beach and just after was understandable. I appreciated the care they took with this scene and the rest of the show. Emotional and mental health issues are often either glossed over or belittled in these shows, so it was nice to see it portrayed in a matter-of-fact and caring manner. I do wish she had been honest with husband about her treatment for her trauma earlier (when they saw her doctor in the car). I get it’s a personal thing and it’s her right to share or not, but I think that’s information that he should have in order to better understand her needs, and their relationship would have benefited from it. That’s just my two cents anyway. 😜
A good drama. Worth learning morals. One shouldn't just risk themselves to become a hero or saviour. He should also think of his loved ones who will suffer due to his unforseen circumstances 😊😊

I loved this drama! Acting was great. There was no psycho women and men willing to do anything to get the fl or ml, no crazy mother in laws. Just a well crafted love story. It was a slow burn love story, which was realistic and ok because fl didn’t know the ml before marrying him, and he was so much older than her.
The fl did not deserve ml. He initiated conversations, protected her and loved her while she continuously misunderstood him, didn't communicate, constantly ran away from home and just overall didn't appreciate him enough. It would have been a sweeter drama if halfway through, she learned to love him properly and communicate her feelings.
I think recently he has been in the role like last 4 or 5 dramas that I have watched he was in 3 of them, not caring for fl and she breaks up and he denies but when she moves on, he starts pestering her and the regrets it and wants her back. Like seriously same.
Seems quite lovely overall. She is naive, sweet and inexperienced. Saw some negative comments about FL, but as a young woman married to a man she barely knows, who is often cold, abrupt or away on business, it's understandable that she hasn't found a connection yet. He does have a few caring moments but often ruins it by scolding her as well. You can see them both warm up slowly. His EQ is low - he doesn't actually understand how to be in a relationship either. But they grow together and learn how to be good to each other.

Why is she arguing with and lecturing that other guy in the rain? So that the uncle can come along at the right time to pick her up? I can see I'm going to really like this one from this one clumsy plot convenience. The biggest problem I have with this version is that they made the FL far too immature. She comes across as silly and petulant.
Never have I hated a FL like this, she was selfish to the end, like you have a handsome hubby who is attentive to you, at least show some love nah even running away like a fool rather than talking it out... I wouldn't even be vex if ML divorce her due to the neglect in the marriage but luckily he didn't 🙃
Re the running away part, she's obviously got PTSD from losing her brother who lost his life saving someone, so when she thought her husband had died it triggered her PTSD badly so she was trying to cope by cutting herself off from him because she can't cope with losing another person she loves..(her own words)....she clearly has mental health issues and needs professional help to address this problem...like when she broke up with her boyfriend at the beginning she was emotionless...she won't allow herself to get emotionally attached...

是一部難得沒有以渣男、綠女反復又無意義的漫駡、下藥、無腦構陷、車禍、男主為救女主挨刀等橋段佔據過多篇幅，導致主題失焦的短劇。
全劇以女主的家庭及過世哥哥作為情節的延伸，女主受創的心理、父母世交所訂定的姻緣、已逝兄長的女友，十年前的事故/故事是傷痛，不刻意著著墨而更顯感傷。
男、女主間在先婚而後愛的感情長成期間，內心不安、不確定及情緒反應描述的相當接近真實，數次誤解、磨合情節都因對彼此的愛與難捨，能積極努力面對、解決並成為彼此情感增進的催化劑。
結論：男主對於角色的詮釋值得稱讚，女主在表現年相對男主年輕許多方面，有演繹過度略不夠討喜之嫌，但整體而言還是有不錯的表現，總之個人覺得這是一部有意義且用心於探討生活與愛情的作品，值得推薦欣賞的優秀短劇。

Why is she arguing with and lecturing that other guy in the rain? So that the uncle can come along at the right time to pick her up? I can see I'm going to really like this one from this one clumsy plot convenience. The biggest problem I have with this version is that they made the FL far too immature. She comes across as silly and petulant.
Never have I hated a FL like this, she was selfish to the end, like you have a handsome hubby who is attentive to you, at least show some love nah even running away like a fool rather than talking it out... I wouldn't even be vex if ML divorce her due to the neglect in the marriage but luckily he didn't 🙃

Re the running away part, she's obviously got PTSD from losing her brother who lost his life saving someone, so when she thought her husband had died it triggered her PTSD badly so she was trying to cope by cutting herself off from him because she can't cope with losing another person she loves..(her own words)....she clearly has mental health issues and needs professional help to address this problem...like when she broke up with her boyfriend at the beginning she was emotionless...she won't allow herself to get emotionally attached...
