IMAN AND MOZAM , EMI options / auto loan is pretty easy in india. Nobody even thinks it as a WOW feature here. Almost every person in india can qualify for 70% loan / emi. Banking in india is very easy. You can take easy loans for everything , automobile / education / marriage / personal etc. And within few minutes.

Mostly people in India are becoming practical in spending money on buying cars. Typical middle class buys cars ranging from 5 lacs to 15 lacs based on requirement. Car isn't an asset. Luxury cars have low resale value due to high maintainence cost.
At 15-20 lacs one can easily choose among various options in new cars. Mostly middle class goes with low maintainence and high fuel economy cars. Typically they go for a new one. We buy second hand cars during learning or by newly learned people.

I usually don't prefer these second hand cars ,cuz they have over 50 to 1 lakh kilometers,
people who want to show off usually buys these luxury cars ,yes its cheap but maintaining these cars are expensive, servicing and parts cost are high ,
so most people in middle class prefer brand new cars of tata, mahindra, hyundai or Honda,under 20 lakhs , but there are those people who would buy these luxury cars but they will sell withing few years and keep changing it ,they don't keep these cars for long ,I have a friend who bought second hand audi a6 he sold it within 5 yrs to buy second hand bmw , he likes to change cars frequently, but I like to buy brand new cars and keep it for long duration

Delhi mei diesel car ki life 10 years hei and for petrol it is 15 years….thtz why these cars sell at such a low price….still there is not so high demand for them because they are expensive to maintain….so ppl will prefer to buy a new luxury car of lower bracket and that too on EMIs.
You can compare one more thing….u saw Ford Endeavour SUV in the video…..Ford left India and it is not manufactured here any more and the ex-showroom price of this SUV was 35-36 lakhs and it is still selling for 22-23 lakhs in second hand market.

YOU CAN SAY ANY MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY CAN AFFORD A CAR ARROUND 10-13 LAKHS, BUT OF COURSE IF GETS ON EMI, AND THERE ARE SO MANY BANKS AS WELL AS PRIVATE FINANCES AVAILABLE HERE WHICH WORKS IMMIDIATELY.
A new car in range of 10 lakhs is always better than a cheap 15 lakhs secondhand car. In any case, in NCR, the life of a patrol car is 15 years and that of diesel is 10 years, mileage has nothing to do with the car's age. So these NCR cars are resold at throw away prices.
15 to 20 lacs is affordable for middle class but purchasing a luxury car like bmw and mercedes at the same price is not a good deal because there maintenance cost will be higher .

I am from Lucknow and I seen all luxury car except Bentley. Like Rolls Royce,juguar,Audi, Mercedes,Ford , Lamborghini,& so many.
Except for Bentley and S-class, all the other cars are locally manufactured in India therefore second hand cars are cheaply available.
India me bohut ameer log 1-2 saal chalakar gadi chor dete hai , ye sab wahi hai . Par rate isliye kam rehta hai kyonki insab ka service cost bohut jyada hota hai. Jab tak chale to thik fir bech do. Uppar se India ka ignition norms bohut strict ho chuka hai isliye ye sab sif gaav me chal sakti hai sif ya fir chote shehron me.

Affordability of these vehicles in the range of upto 10 lakh with EMI should not be an issue for a normal middle class family. The issue thereafter is the service and maintenance of the car which is expensive as the parts are expensive. Also you are required to scrap the car after 15 years life as you cannot drive a car in India whose life is more than 15 years due to emmision rules.
