I call my under cabinet jar opener “Man”…I live alone and sometimes it’s so nice to have a man around the house!! 😂
😂 Right!?!
That’s phenomenal!!! I have my hubby but he’s not home yet when I start dinner. I have to find our 23yr old daughter sometimes 😂😂
Cute!
@@MindfulMidlifehi can you please tell me what shampoo and conditioner you use? Thanks in advance
I love it!
I love how you just jumped into it. I hate long intros that drag on for ages 😉
You would be amazed at how many intros I film and then end-up cutting it out. I always keep saying to myself "nobody needs to know this Bobbie, nobody cares". 😂
Me too!!
Instead of paying 50 bucks for that wedge at the top of the bed, a pool noodle will work just as well. You can make a cover for it out of an old sheet if you're picky.
Such a great idea! Thanks for sharing it! ❤😊
Thanks for getting right into your selections and not having a long intro . . .
Great video. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate you getting right into the video and not spending time explaining what you were going to do in the video. Your title was clear, and you got to it. Nicely done!!
Thank you for noticing! You have NO IDEA how much I want to talk and how much I cut out in editing! Haha, I can "go on". 😂
I love how you just start right in. I don’t need to be entertained and I don’t need music. Thanks a lot!
Use pool noodles instead of the wedge at your headboard
I call our spring whisk a “doinky-doink”, because that’s how you use it.
Love it!
We used to call the spring whisk the “jumper up and down thing” when I was a kid. Nice to have the official name for this utensil!
amazing, I am so glad I found this channel. I need everything you featured. Lol
You are very concise and accurate. I enjoyed your presentation and editing.
You might have just solved a major problem for me. Our living room is in a finished basement, and it's kind of awkward because it was apparently finished over a period of time, so there aren't any outlets in logical places. The only available outlet is inaccessible behind the couch, so we use an extension cord with multiple plugs...and we are *constantly* tripping over it. I think that power strip you showed may attach to my end table and allow us to stop tripping over cords all the time.
Those appliance sliders are amazing however .... NOT for kitchen aid mixer because when you turn the mixer on higher settings it moves all over the counter. Lots of great stuff in this vid, thank you!
As a fellow arthritis sufferer, several of these things look great! Thank you for sharing. And I don't understand why the judgement on not buying actual books, I don't have an issue holding them like you do, but I have severe allergies to dust and mold so I don't have a bunch of books around for my health! It's still a book, you're still reading, so I don't get why anyone thinks it's that different. Plus I don't have to dust them all. Everyone just needs to do what works for them. Have a great day Bobbie!
My mama always said if you can’t say something nice, then keep it to yourself. 😀😀
I also buy all my books on Kindle. I take my kindle paperwhite when I go to the beach but otherwise, I read on the kindle app on my iPad, which I always carry with me. That way, if I find myself waiting for an appointment or for any other reason, I always have my books at my fingertips.
@@barbarahansen5353 I found it so much easier (and lighter) when traveling to take a single tablet with the guidebooks loaded on it than to carry several! It's so simple to use, it's not bulky and here's the part no one wants to talk about--it's good for the planet. I don't think people realize how many physical books end up in the trash. I have a friend that works in a used bookstore and I was floored when she told me just what their store ends up throwing out.
@@joannecalcutt6724 Right?! It amazes me how many people don't seem to understand that concept.
Something about you reminds me of myself. I love your channel.
That sleek socket works for socekts behind furniture so that you can push the furniture to the wall without all the bulk from plugs.
Yes, I forgot to say that since that's not the way I am using it. Whoever designed this was a genius!
Awesome video!!!! For a couple married 33 years, (who are a tad ocd and have arthritis) we had to purchase a few of these items (sliders, surge protector, fan and outlet concealer). Thank you!!!! We never would've found these (well, maybe the fan) goodies on our own. 🤗 Btw- your new hairstyle is ADORABLE!!!!!! I swear it makes you look 10 years younger!!!!!
I'm so glad they have been helpful Claudia! I love sharing things that have helped me so I love to hear how they help others. Thank you and 10 years...I'll take it!! 😉
New visitor to your channel. I’m not sure if you normally talk about your arthritis, but I think you should either mention this in your video titles or channel name. This is very helpful information to someone who has grip issues or issues with arthritis and they should be directed to your channel.
First of all, your new haircut is fantastic! Coold finds, Bobbie. That's the whisk my mom always used and I found one for my own kitchen as an adult. Love how it gets in corners and on the flat bottom of the pot.
Bed wedges are available for $15-20 thru Timew.
These are awesome! Some will be going in my cart now, and some later, lol! Your hair is SO cute, btw!!
that bed wedge is genius
Right?!? I still think it was overpriced, but we certainly have gotten good use of it.
Bobbie, I just love your videos and get all excited when you upload! Thank you for this!
Thanks for sharing these. The spring whisk is nice.
I appreciate you so, so much !
Thanks so much for putting this all together for us! I just ordered the crevice cleaning tools from Amazon and also found and ordered a ColorPop pallet you recommended as well. I love these types of videos.
I am so excited you shared the Swair Hair! I have come to absolutely hate all dry shampoos but I need something in between washes! Thank you!!!
Love the jar opener for under the cabinet!!
Great video, so helpful! Thank you for all these clever ideas
LOVE your recommendations!
What a refreshing video and presentation! 😊 Loved your ideas!! Keep up the great work!!
I really love these kind of videos. Great info.
Great recommendations. Thanks!
Your hair looks so pretty! Great suggestions, thanks !
Love all the ideas! I did pick up the Oasis Kindle upon your suggestion and i LOVE IT!
Wow! These are great suggestions!
Hi Bobbie, great finds from Amazon. It’s a blessing to find things that we need to make life easier when we have a debilitating condition. Thank you Bobbie:
It really is! There are so many things I have purchased from Amazon that truly were just money wasters, but thankfully I did find a few that were amazing! Have a good week Karla!
Great finds. I need several of those products! Thanks.
Hi Bobbie! Great video! I had to watch it twice though because the first time I was preoccupied with trying to figure out if you cut your hair or if it was just draping that way 😂 You have the most gorgeous hair!!
These are phenomenal ideas!!! I just got some Christmas shopping done for this year! Cheers!
Happy holidays really, really, really early 🙌🏼 ! Well done! I'm impressed!
Will look these up- some I already have😃 Have soreness in my thumb joints- depends on the day- so excited for options!
I have that exact same fan,but only use it on low however if the electricity goes off it doesn’t come back off but I love it! Great fan fir 3 watts!
We also applied sliders under our Keurig. Works like a charm.
Great tips.
Lots of great ideas! Love your new cut! ❤
Thanks Melissia! 💕
woman!!! You have everything that I have😂😂😂😂😂 It's amazing watching you. Except for a few things that I can't wait to try.
Thanks. Another great video!
You are welcome Linda!
This was a good one! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Great finds, Bobbie!
I love your hair cut!
Thank you Dee! 💕 I’m getting used to it still.
@@MindfulMidlife 🥰
Interesting because the *are* very useful. Liked and subscribed ❤
Love your tips. I only started watching over last 3 weeks. Have watched them all now.
Wow, that'a a lot of UA-cam! 🤗 Thank you so much Margaret.
Yes it was a binge of your channel while we were away in the mountains.
Fantastic video, I am truly loving the new hair style, it’s lovely and it takes years off of you… You are definitely rocking it…😁😁😁
Thanks Diane! I'm getting used to it. I filmed this the same day I had it cut so she styled it much better than I can.
I need that gap cleamer! Thsnk you! I have switched to Molly's Suds laundry detergent because of one of your previous videos awhile back. Great products!! I really like their foaming hand soap.
I haven't bought their soap, but when I do need more soap, I will be trying it.
OMG! First time I heard someone else say it was painful to hold a book. I was sad to admit defeat but, it is true. I bought a kindle just for that purpose.
It's not defeat, it's reality. I finally like reading again! Now...I need to find something that will help me push down a spray can/bottle - ouch!
Avoid carbs, which cause inflammation, painful joints.
Greate suggestions and I love the hair length!
Thank you Debbie! I'm getting used to it. I filmed this the same day I got it done so she made it look great.
Looks like some great products.
Hi Bobbie, I just stumbled upon your channel, and I'm hooked! I too like that you jump right on. I have several of these items, but really like the crevice cleaner. Also, I swear by the eye glass cleaners; I use them everyday. FYI, they cost less than 5 dollars at Wal-Mart! Thank you, Judy
Yes, I have bought them there a few times as well. I also hear they are also at the Dollar Store but I don’t know how many you get.
New subscriber here. I’ve been watching your videos for while now. Love your new haircut Bobbie ❤ And your over 50 content. Have a blessed day. 😊
Thank you so much Susanne! I'm getting used to the cut!
Your hair and makeup is just beautiful today!
I love Paul Tripp! ❤
I also have arthritis and love my kindle! I can actually read for so much longer😊
Bobbie that gap cleaner tool is a game changer - seriously how many times have we all use a butter knife and rag to clean all the nooks and crannies in the kitchen!😂 Lots of great tools to make all our lives easier, the jar opener under the cabinet is nicely tucked away too!
Yes!!! The knife covered in a rag is a thing of the past! I recently cleaned an old toaster oven for my son to take to his new apartment and WOW...that thing came in handy!
Nice tips. ❤
Thanks Robin! 😊
Hi there. I love your videos and was glad to see your new one today. I humbly have something to ask of you however… when you are talking about a product, please hold it forward and hold it still. The shampoo you were showing, I couldn’t quite understand the name of it as you talked and I couldn’t read the label as you danced it around. 😊Thx.
Everything she talked about in the video is listed in her description. You can find it there.
@@susannovak8263 Duh on me 😂. I forgot that important fact. Thanks! 😊
Your hair looks amazing!!!
Thank you!!
OMG. The bed wedge?! I need that in my life!
Yes!!! This has saved me from losing my phone, Kindle and pillow!!!
I needed something like this once upon a time, and I used either a cheap body pillow that I could stuff down in that space, or two round bolster pillows that also fit nicely. This kind of general solution solved losing my pillow and other items.
I bought a piece of heavy foam and it worked well in that area
On the castor oil suggestion…find some that is cold-pressed/organic/hexane-free and in a glass bottle.
The gel computer wrist rests are much more comfortable than hard wood. Amazon has a wide selection. Been using one 10 years now.
I steer-clear of the gel because I thought they would be difficult to keep clean. Have you found that at all?
Just put it in your kitchen sink with dish soap, swish, and leave flat to dry. Voila, clean and just like new. I do this with my gel wrist support mouse pad also.
Great finds Bobbie ! I need one of those bed wedges, but kinda pricey. May be worth it though. Loving your haircut ! So cute ! 💗
Your hair looks nice.
Oh my gosh. No sooner did I finish the video than I told my husband about the gap filler for the bed. Pretty much every day I'm annoyed by that gap. I can see all sorts of crap that's fallen down under there, but can't reach to retrieve the items. Will also have to give that crevice cleaner some thought as I also notice the crumbs caught between the counter and the stove.
They also sell a product that covers the gap between the counter and stove. It comes in white and clear, I believe. I saw it on Temu, too.
Wrist rests for computer keyboards also come as padded and anti-static types.
I did see the padded but I felt they would get dirty. I haven’t had a problem with static but I can guess that static would be bad for the computer.
I don't buy books either. I read the once...or I do not & then they sit on shelf & are not needed. There are a few for reference but I usually just use the internet.
Hahahaha - I thought this was just to check and see if we were following your previous advice to stop watching these type of videos 😂😂😂!
😂 Ha, this is a test..this is only a test!!! Actually, my previous advice was to not watch "haul" videos. These products are all tested and have proven to be good ... at least for me.
The whisk also gets in the “corners” of your pot!
Yessss!!!!
I am with you on the books tell them all to book off. 😅
I have GOT to get that gap cleaning tool so I can clean the sliding door tracks!! ;-)
Yes...it's amazing for that. I also use a spray bottle full of just water. I have one that sprays a narrow stream so it's powerful enough to dislodge all the dirt - game changer.
I'd buy a piece of think foam or a foldable pillow to wedge in headboard.
I was thinking I could easily use some scrap fabric or muslin to sew a basic bolster- like tube for the bed and stuff it with batting pieces or foam. I think it would be cheaper.
They have those lense wipes at Dollar Tree 😂
Yes! Someone else said that! I’m wondering if the price per unit is better?
Trim a large pool noodle and cover it for a bed wedge might be a cheap option
A few have given that idea and it's a good one. What would you cover it with? I don't think I want a neon pink wedge. 😂
Old sheet, mattress cover, fabric, whatever you have on hand that suits your esthetic. @@MindfulMidlife
make up brushes - wow I was exhausted thinking about needing that many bushes to complete my make up.
Part of my channel is also reviewing makeup products which of course would include makeup brushes. That's why I have so many.
I have a Kindle. I don’t purchase books, I either find one that costs $0 or free first read.
Your eyes are always so bright and clear...any tips? Do you take any supplements? What's your secret? ;-)
Oh thank you Dawn! My secret is Lumify Eye drops. I use them before I film or when I have a special occasion.
Thanks for this video! Can I pls ask what kind of bed pillow you use? It looks like it might be good for back and neck pain.
Sure, it's Sleep & Glow. It's linked in all my videos. I'll warn you, it's not cheap, but it has helped me so much with diminishing wrinkles and it supports my neck amazingly. It is an affiliate link - just want to be honest.
The can opener looks good but is it bothersome to attach to the cupboard?
Not at all. It comes with adhesive to position and hold while it gets screwed into the cabinet.
@@MindfulMidlife ok thanks I will check the measurements as my cupboards are not that deep I have bought things and end up not using them because of difficulty to install 🥴
Hey babes. U working hard
On one hand you talk about reducing the clutter and simplifying your home and on the other hand you talk about buying all these things from Amazon!
Actually, I talk about reducing unnecessary clutter that isn’t being used. These are all used consistently! 🤗
I just watched a video by KenDBerryMD called "Its not obesity its Lipedema" its worth a watch.
You can use white pool fat pool noodles for that gap in mattress
Good idea! Do you cover it or just "rock" the fun colors?
Those lens wipes are at dollar tree
Really? I've never seen them at mine! I'll have to look again! Thanks!
I checked out the little fan on Amazon, and read that it has a USB plug and will not plug into a standard wall outlet without an adapter. Too bad, I would have purchased one.
Yes, I wonder why they did it that way. It probably costs them less. Annoying!
It will be simply amazing when you won't have local stores to go and buy what you want.Big box killed mom and pops and can't wait until these entities control everything..sounds amazing.
You don't own a single Kindle book. All you own is the device. I would be cool with it but they charge high prices for a rental book
You aren't wrong - same for audio books. I try to use my Library for books as much as possible. Honestly, I don't' care about owning most books. I have had some reference or non-fiction books that I wish I had owned the actual book.
You are a very sweet woman.
Only I got a lot of my things on temu
Qualche video fa avevi detto che non compravi oggetti pressoché inutili ...in cucina e in giro per casa
Correct! In my opinion, these are NOT useless! They solved problems and have been very helpful, so therefore they have simplified my life.
None of the things mentioned are necessary at all they make no difference and it’s money one doesn’t have to spend. It all just looks like a bunch of junk sorry..
Not “necessary“ and “make no difference“ - so, she’s just supposed to be unable to open a jar or make her hands less painful while typing on the computer. Having a Kindle allows her to read in comfort, instead of having to hold a book, which is painful for her. I’ve looked at the comments you leave on her videos and they are all negative. Why are you so self-absorbed?
Hi New subscriber here. Nice items, I know I will have to buy a couple soon. Thank you for sharing ❤🔥❤🔥
Great finds. I need several of those products! Thanks.
