Great info! I am Canadian, but I have yet to explore this trail. It's tempting me to spend the entire summer hiking the Rockies again. I'll check out your cinematic video, too. ❤ Happy trekking!
There’s about 3 days of hiking in this area if you can get a campsite or lodge. Bookings are done in January. MacArthur lake, Linda lake, Opabin pass & MacArthur pass. All part of the same area, with videos on our channel. ✌️
If your knees are ok with descending from the Wiwaxy Gap back to "Le Relay", it's significantly easier doing it counter-clockwise. I always recommend clockwise because it's likely better for most hikers to get most of the climb done early in the day while they have the most energy.
@@mdog1615 thank you! It’s also taking a lot longer to create the videos so I’ve had to skip several weekly posts in 2024 because Im prioritizing quality over quantity. Just share the content & the channel will get there eventually, I’m running targeted ads this fall to get more subs focused on mountain culture.
Awesome video! I've been in twice with my family. First time up to All Soul's Prospect going counterclockwise to Opabin Plateau and down. From All Soul's Prospect my young daughter when seeing distance Wiwaxy Gap said, "We gotta go there!" So our second trip was birthed with that comment which is the same as this video. I shared your video on my Facebook page. We had good weather days. 🤠
It's an amazing hike! We did quite a bit this summer & have more content from O'Hara. I think we've captured every corner of that place in the past 3 years.
We're making a video about everything you need to know about O'Hara coming out in the next couple months that took us about 6 days to record all over that area. We also have a video of all the lookouts of O'Hara as well, we tackled Mount Schaffer, Yukness, Odaray... we've already made a video of all the other trails, so this might be our last year hiking there for a good while.

i add McArthur Lake on as well as I figure that once I’m up there (Schaeffer) i don’t want to go down and come back another day!
