The Pussycat Dolls' Melody Thornton chats being raised by a 'cowboy'

Former Pussycat Doll, Melody Thornton shot to fame over 15 years ago with the Pussycat Dolls and has since gone on to pursue a successful solo career while being involved in numerous other projects. She joins Danny Clayton in the BUILD Sydney studio to chat about learning to dance, her favourite reality shows, being raised by a 'cowboy' and the struggles of finding the right partner.

I love Melody ! Rooting for her! I’ve always wondered why she hasn’t put out an album and put current music and now I know. She is not interested in being Hollywood famous or get the next hit or be seen. She don’t care even if she doesn’t make any money off of it. As long as she’s happy. Oh well

I just don't get why melody keeps saying in interviews that she's never taken a dance class. Maybe she's never took one outside of the pussycat dolls however I would consider the rehearsals for the dolls a mega dance class don't cha think?? Shes also done dancing in other music videos and such outside of the dolls.

Why are you mad and pressed?! It was her decision because she didn’t want to be a backup dancer for Nicole all over again. So now she shines on her own with her amazing singing talent (she’s a trained opera singer) and happy about it, unlike you who seems stupid and jealous of someone who doesn’t know you exist.
