Unfortunately I've never tried a Vertagear chair before, but that one looks pretty decent, especially with the 180kg max load. I expect it should last pretty long if they rate it for that weight.

Filmed this review three months after getting the chair, and it was still everything I said it was in the video. ASUS took it back about a week ago and it was still perfect.
Hi. I have the core variant without the RGB. What is the difference between the two? Is it only the RGB that lacks with the Core? Or also the the quality difference? If so, then what is the difference with the quality? Thank you.
Yip, the biggest difference is the RGB lighting. The Core also comes without the two side straps on the back, and from what I can see the Core also ditches the hard plastic rear panel and instead has a leatherette finish. There shouldn't be any quality difference between the two as only those aesthetic things seem to have been removed.
They're very similar from what I can see. The Chariot comes with a few extra features, and looks a little more premium, but I'm not sure it's worth the higher price.
Unfortunately I've never tried a Noblechairs product before, so it's hard for me to give a firm recommendation. From what I've seen online, the Hero is a very good chair, and I know the Chariot is amazing too, so I don't think you can really go wrong either way. Maybe just go with whichever one catches your eye more, lol.
If you have back issues you probably shouldn't be looking into gaming chairs. Your back will benefit a lot more from one of those ergonomic office chairs.

I will definitely be subscribing this is the first video of yours I've seen because I'm in the market for a new gaming chair and I found your video extremely informative and very entertaining. Thanks bro.
I’ve been doing some research on this chair recently and I think it’s safe to assume you’re also the person who left the 5 star review on Microcenter 😂
You know as much as I do at this point. It's out in some regions, and I'm expecting it to launch more globally sometime in the next few months but no official word.
To me, it *looks* like a solid chair in terms of aesthetics and comfortability (albeit I have not yet actually sat on this one). However, $600, the price listed on Asus' website, is excessive and ridiculous at best (in other countries, this product is listed $1,000+). You can buy other premium, flagship "gaming chairs" by numerous other companies for nearly half the price of this one. For example, the Cougar Armor Titan Royal, the chair that I've been using for a while now, is nearly half the price of this and it has the same adjustability and quality of materials as this one (appears to have). The only thing that it doesn't have is the RGB, but ask yourself: is it really worth the extra $250? Oh wait, it also doesn't have the branding, I guess. Apart from that, the chair looks good. However, for me and I assume many others, the price is a major turnoff. But that's a trend for most Asus products.
The pricing is without a doubt the chair's biggest turnoff, and I suspect it has a lot to do with the shocking lack of availability of the things. I get people asking where to buy them all the time, and I don't have an answer for them. I actually just reviewed the Armor Titan Pro Royal. Great chair. Definitely not the same material quality as the Chariot though.
Wish I could tell you, man. I hoped it would be a month or two max after this video that they'd become available worldwide, but it's almost impossible to find anywhere. My own ASUS contact doesn't even know what's happening 😭
@@TheTechTank Unethical? But SecretLab and Noble Chairs have real leather options. I'll get one of those because although I like ROG stuff, £500 is too much for a PU leather chair.
Yeah, like that LiveDash OLED they have on some motherboards (and GPUs I think) 😂 But I don't even want to think about how much more expensive it would've been if they did add that on.
LMAO... This was a great video tank! Man this is my next chair. I been using a amazon big and tall chair that was about $260. It is still going strong 3 years later. Lol, unfortunately not. You might be able to get someone to ship it to you, but it's going to be hella expensive considering the massive size of the package.
@@TheTechTank I see it being sold for different prices in different countries. When doing the USD conversion, some come out to be $550 usd for the RGB version, whereas another country comes out to a lil over $900 usd. Just thought the shipping may have been worth it still. Anyway, thanks for getting back to me. Ill just have to wait patiently then lol

does it feel tight on the butt? from what i see on their website it only has 39cm seat width. i'm a 1.9m and 98kg guy for comparison and can you sit cross legged with it? nice video and shirt btw i like it haha
Haha, thanks man! I wouldn't really say it felt "tight" or anything, but my butt does end up going over the raised sides a little (the sides are also soft though so it's not really an issue). As for sitting on it with crossed legs, it really depends on how long your legs are. I haven't found a single gaming chair that I can sit on comfortably with crossed legs (39-40cm is pretty much the standard for almost all of them) - it's why I'm still using a single-seater couch 😂

Oh cool, so ASUS IS actually selling these things in select countries. They're impossible to find in the US and most of Europe. Yeah, the 145 isn't worth it for the RGB version. Quick question bud. Gaming chairs are mostly trash we all know that. Dont you think an office chair is way better then these gimmick gaming chairs that suck?
Honestly, before I got to try the Chariot I would've agreed with that 100%. But now I'm not so sure. There are probably office chairs with the same build quality, comfort, and adjustibility of the Chariot at a lower price, but none of them have the same... attitude? Hi man, great video.
I've heard this chair holds up to 265 pounds, what about the user's height?
I am 6'4, would this chair be a good choice for me?
Thanks, man! I'm pretty sure the chair supports way more weight than that, considering I was about 350 pounds at the time and it held up perfectly. I'm around the same height (minus maybe an inch or so), and this was the most comfortable gaming chair I'd ever used, so I'd definitely put it close to the top of your list.
@@TheTechTankstill holding up great today?
@@nazurin5982 Only had the chair for a couple of months, unfortunately, but I imagine with the build quality as good as it is it would've held up great until now.
Is it available in Philippines nw?wat site?please help me to find that chair
Not as far as I know. I think the chair will only officially launch in a month or two.
I will definitely be subscribing this is the first video of yours I've seen because I'm in the market for a new gaming chair and I found your video extremely informative and very entertaining. Thanks bro.
Thanks for the kind words, man, and welcome to the channel!
I’ve been doing some research on this chair recently and I think it’s safe to assume you’re also the person who left the 5 star review on Microcenter 😂
So the chair is not even out yet?
Ok a question when this will be available to buy as I can’t find it anywhere online? 🤷♂️
Wish I could tell you, man. I hoped it would be a month or two max after this video that they'd become available worldwide, but it's almost impossible to find anywhere. My own ASUS contact doesn't even know what's happening 😭

Either way you pronounce aluminum is right. The person who discovered it actually pronounced it both ways himself.

Lovely , just got the rgb one. The big thing i dislike... the battery missing :) for a 600 euros.. they could add a 30 euros battery 26k mah
Couldn't agree more. Powerbanks are cheap, especially if ASUS buys them in bulk, so they really should've included even a small one.
Hi curious to know how it is in terms of quality and comfortability? Is it something i'd feel comfortable sitting in given the wfh situation?
is the chair better than this dx racer shit? i buyed a dx racer and its just so bad... would lile to buy a good one but this rgb shit kinda seems dumb
Way better than DX Racer IMO. If you're not a fan of the RGB, just go for the Chariot Core without the RGB.

Lol, can confirm 😴
They need a real leather version though as this PU one is likely to peel eventually surely.
Too unethical in today's climate, and far too cost-prohibitive unfortunately.
@@TheTechTank Unethical? But SecretLab and Noble Chairs have real leather options. I'll get one of those because although I like ROG stuff, £500 is too much for a PU leather chair.

I’m surprised they didn’t put an oled screen on it
OMG, an OLED screen would've been doooope!
Just Tank yeah I mean like they put it on everything other product
Yeah, like that LiveDash OLED they have on some motherboards (and GPUs I think) 😂 But I don't even want to think about how much more expensive it would've been if they did add that on.
So wait, can I plug a USB cable to the chair and the RG will work?

does it feel tight on the butt? from what i see on their website it only has 39cm seat width. i'm a 1.9m and 98kg guy for comparison and can you sit cross legged with it? nice video and shirt btw i like it haha
Haha, thanks man! I wouldn't really say it felt "tight" or anything, but my butt does end up going over the raised sides a little (the sides are also soft though so it's not really an issue). As for sitting on it with crossed legs, it really depends on how long your legs are. I haven't found a single gaming chair that I can sit on comfortably with crossed legs (39-40cm is pretty much the standard for almost all of them) - it's why I'm still using a single-seater couch 😂
thanks for the reply!

I think I would probably get this one since I don't wanna pay 145$ for the led lighting....I mean they look cool but this one seems the better deal @365$ vs 510 for the RGB version. How much was it selling for where you had it ?
Oh cool, so ASUS IS actually selling these things in select countries. They're impossible to find in the US and most of Europe. Yeah, the 145 isn't worth it for the RGB version. You're paying that exclusively for aesthetic extras.
Funnily enough, it's not sold here in South Africa. ASUS South Africa got one shipped in to get coverage from reviewers like me, but they never actually started to sell them here.
I just got mine finally. Its so well made and solid. Also extremely comfortable.

Quick question bud. Gaming chairs are mostly trash we all know that. Dont you think an office chair is way better then these gimmick gaming chairs that suck?
Honestly, before I got to try the Chariot I would've agreed with that 100%. But now I'm not so sure. There are probably office chairs with the same build quality, comfort, and adjustibility of the Chariot at a lower price, but none of them have the same... attitude?
