I know I would most definitely be in distress if someone ruined my cake and my appearance, especially on my wedding day. The bride in the video didn't look too pleased either. There are plenty of other definitions of cruel and cruelty that you can look up. You should probably double check your thinking before you tell other people they used a word wrong.
Also most tiered cakes like that usually have wooden dowels or straws in them for support. By doing that without knowing if it has them could be truly awful.
