    God idea cutting the bar lower then needed. Looks great. Did you order yours in the white and black paint or did you have it done yourself?

      Thanks mate, I think it look great as well. No I ordered it in black and then matched the white to the rangers colour. Check out the video of painting the bullbar on my channel

    Hi mate, loved the video and have watched it a dozen times before I have just fitted my own Ironman bar to our 2019 XLS. Yes the instructions leave quite a bit out and there was a couple of head scratching moments.
    My big question is the indicator/park lamp wiring what colours went to what on the car as the instruction diagram is different colours than the bullbar wiring and I have no idea what colours to pick up on the car, any help would be much appreciated.
    Oh and I left mine all black but was tempted to colour the bar after I saw yours, great work.

      Thanks mate really appreciate it. Having a look if i have some footage or a photo of the wiring, for memory it was a bit trial and error to get it right. Will let you know if I find something

    Great job, how hard was it connecting the fog lights and indicators? Is it plug and play or do you need to splice into existing wiring?

    • @4weeksleave
      @4weeksleave  3 роки тому +1

      It was very easy to do. The bullbar come with a wiring harness for the fog lights if your vehicle does not have fog lights. If you do have fog lights in the bumper I found it easier to just solder and shrink rap and not have to install the harness. For the indicator I just used little 12v t-taps to connect to the existing indicator circuits.

    Hi mate how are you....
    I want to ask you how much is the vibration with the bullbar when you are in transit in gravel roads... And its behavior in corrugations...the vibration is too much???
    I have an Ranger 3.2 XLS and I want to install a Ironman proguard bullbar (no loop)
    Cheers mate

      @4weeksleave  3 роки тому +1

      Hey mate I am well thanks. As the bullbar has only been on there for a month or so now, I will reserve my judgement for when I've done a few more km's on corrugations. But what I will say is the proguard bar is lighter that the deluxe range bars and therefore the vibrations will be much less. Just make sure when fitting to install the pinning bolts (drilling new holes into the car chassis and bolting). And goes without saying but when driving on corrugations remember to check tire pressures, speed and your suspension to make sure you don't vibrate your car apart - and the ride is comfortable😜

    Any issues with clearance from the winch to bumper/grill? Got a dominator extreme im installing and its all veeeery tight

    • @4weeksleave
      @4weeksleave  2 роки тому +1

      No issue, but agree veeeeeeerrrry tight fit. I have maybe 5mm between winch and grill, maybe even less. Will be interesting to see how the grill goes after a lot of corregations….🤨

    Were there the chassis strengthening brackets behind that main winch moutn bracket? Then you had ti drill a 12.5mm hole through chassis?
    I assume the main winch bracket and the small brackets that run along the sides of the chassis sandwhich the square front of chassis?

    • @4weeksleave
      @4weeksleave  3 роки тому +1

      Correct and correct, 12.5mm hole to pin everything so it cant move.

      @@4weeksleave thankyou so much. Im abkut to tackle mine but the instructions are very vague. The main bolts through winch mount goes through that, the chassis and the small brackets?

    • @chrisoliver8427
      @chrisoliver8427 3 роки тому

      @@4weeksleave and just for clarity. The bracket becomes pinned to the chassis by the 12.5mm and the bar itself becomes pinned to the bracket?
      Also.. Seems in the video you chucked the main bracket on then must have realized the smaller strengthening brackets go in behind it?

    • @4weeksleave
      @4weeksleave  3 роки тому +1

      @@chrisoliver8427 Yes, the main bolts bolt the winch cradle and all the strengthening brackets to the chassis 👍🏻 One big sandwich of plates
