      All the ladies will sing now and again. Miku will run a parallel channel and 1- 2 layers with an intelligent harmonizer and Saiki also has used at least a dual channel and harmonizer as needed to thicken the vocals live. Sounds a lot cleaner than b-tracks esp with the new gear that's out now. Where was this stuff 30 years ago when I needed it? LOL! At least I got the Variax....

    This song is quite tear-inducing to those of us who have been Maidiacs for years. This is the last song of a 33 song show, over 3 hours. Saiki was thanking all of the fans for all of their support throughout the years during the speaking parts, and they actually wrote another verse at the end about how they love to hear our voices join with theirs in the singalong part. Worth watching this one with the subs on for sure. If you watch closely, the whole band was fighting off tears for the whole song pretty much. It was the culmination of a concert meant to celebrate their ten year anniversary. And - if you get a chance to go to Japan, do it! Everything is so different there, that even figuring out how to work the vending machine is a cool experience. And it's very, very safe - even in big cities. People are extraordinarily kind and will go way out of their way to help you. So many cool things! Cheers!

    Kanami, the lead guitarist and composer of their music stated she wanted to write an "anthem" song that the band could play before large crowds with them participating. She nailed it. Every great song makes an emotional connection between the musicians and the audience. This is one of those songs.

    Misa is one the most amazingly intuitive bass guitarist I have ever heard. She always seems to play the perfect notes during every song. That's why she is rapidly being considered one of the best bass guitarists in the world, rock or otherwise.

  • @surfingasongwave
    @surfingasongwave 2 місяці тому +16

    This is the one song where you need to turn CC on to get what she's saying. Once you hear their humility and gratitude you'll love them even more. Plus, the last verse was extra, specially written for the occasion. Kanami's outro solo is one of my favorites. It's not really a "solo" because the focus is not on her (it's on the vocals) but maybe you could call it a descant. It's like icing on a beautiful cake to celebrate the evening. The confetti was printed with something like "Band-Maid Tenth Anniversary Tour Final, November 26, 2023"

    Last song of 33 in three and a half hours. When Saiki shows her emotions she becomes even more beautiful- if that's possible.

  • @Jackgtd2
    @Jackgtd2 2 місяці тому +4

    Your ears did not deceive you. They regularly double Miku and Saiki’s vocals on their studio tracks, especially in choruses, (as do many, many artists since Les Paul figured out how to overdub) and they often use those along with keys, strings and even electronic textures on backing tracks in their live shows. It seems that if they thought it was worth adding to the studio track it should be included in the live performance. I can assure you that, in person from 12 feet away, those tracks in no way diminish the sheer talent and joy they display playing all the primary parts. It just adds to the experience.
