- Follow a cave at the top of a slate query and you will find this hidden Blue Pool, hidden in the Wales country side about 5 miles from Barmouth on the other side of the estuary.

May 21 2019 (the day im posting this) the owner decided to block it off due to the amount of rubbish left. Just a thing to inform anyone who wanted to go there

My aunt posted a video of it and it went all over facebook. Thats how i found out

It's an amazing place...visited the Blue Lake on a school residential in the 1990s!
Did you stay in Fairbourne. I went on an outwound bound course in the 80`s and we all stayed in place for that sort of thing on the seafront.
@@damianbutterworth2434 We stayed in Arthog, a couple of miles out, in a converted village hall. We spent lots of time on the beach in Fairbourne. I remember the miniature railway. I also made the grave mistake of eating an entire Kendal mint cake that I bought from a shop there! 🤢

Hey mate. Thanks for watching. At the time of that video I used for Nikon J1. I now use a Canon 200D. I think the 200D is a better camera. The sound is better straight off. There is a lot of background noise with the J1

I use to go to it every year or so. But since the tunnels been filled in 🙁 it’s not worth the walk.

Going to shell island on 28th June 2019 can you recommend some things to do there
I'm at Shell island at the moment. Just making a new video at the moment. There is plenty to do. Especially with the weather like it is at the moment. If you are leaving Shell for the day go and find the Blue lake. Even though from the comments on here it's been closed off. Its still worth a look.
Port Merion is worth a visit.
