And you think they'd show us the ones who didn't? Silly person, only those who sign the paperwork to agree to be on the show get shown. I guarantee there are people who reacted badly and we never saw them.
Nice one. I used to post the oddest things I could imagine - a stamp on a hoola hoop - or a Foxe's Glacier mint - or a boiled agg - and they all got there except th foxes's glacier mint one took a week cause the postie didn;t realise it was a "letter" with the tiniest writing I could manage, so he just kept shoving it to one side. The egg cracked but they still delivered it and put a picture of it in their staff magazine. Getting the hoola hoop in the post box was a challenge - had to bend it in half. I was just a bored teenager so the post office kindly asked me to stop doing it and I obliged. Although years later I DID post a violin case full of chocolate bars and an automatic starting tape recorder to play my music to a record company I hoped to impress with my rubbsh songs - But the record company refused to take delivery, so it was sent back but the post office had to OPEN it to find a forwarding address and phone number, which they rang, asking HOW DO WE TURN THIS THING OFF? - By the time I got it back someone had eaten all the chocolate bars - about 50 kit-kats I had been looking forward to!
@@alliehamilton-calhoun162 Thank you - Glad it amused someone - If my humour appeals to you, you might enjoy a comedic video I'm busy finishing, so will take a few more days to finish and upload as it's become massively complicated - Basically I've completely re-written the story of what happened in that Brendan Kavanagh chinese incident that went viral recently (the public piano player guy arguing with chinese people and involving the police) - I've tried my hand at making one of those bad lip reading videos, replacing Brendan's excellent piano playing with Les Dawson's atrocious playng and making it seem as if the Chinese are arguing that he is playing all the wrong notes, him defending himself saying he is playing all the RIGHT notes but not necessarily in the right order - which is a very old British joke I pinched from a famous TV show in the 70's. However, the story becomes extremely strange and a little bit rude with the police woman turning out to be Brendan's mum who had a bunk up behind the bins at Butlins with Les Dawson, so Brendan is his son and has inherited his Dad';s sausage finger piano playing. It gets worse. Anyway if you can tolerate some rude language in parts and aren't scratching your head wondering what I am talking about, who Les Dawson is etc, well it might be a rib tickler as they say. It;s not what I normally do - boring science vids mainly usually. If it works out I will make more because there's just too much miserable news around lately and many of us need cheering up.
when I was a lad ( during the 1970`s ) we had the same show - except the English version of CC. I think the US version is older than ours, which means we stole it from them. But their, American, version is the more hillarious.
@peterfunt8622 Thanks for the info, Peter. I should have been born American since I`m more attuned to the North American sense of humour than ours. The only comedies we have made ( many will disagree ) are Only Fools and Horses, and Fawlty Towers. Oh, there was a chap called Jeremy Beadle who made some episodes of `Beadle`s About,` in the 1980`s. That was quite commical.
I love the reaction on the people all of them had the good sense of humor 😂😂.

“That is a crock of crap.” 😹
This saying came from the days when people didn't have indoor plumbing. You crapped in a crock and took it outside in the morning.

Who is playing the postman? Is that Jeff Daniels??
@peterfunt8622 Thanks for replying Peter! He does look a bit like him (at least in this clip). And yeah, Jose did a great job!
Candid Camera could never come back and do these again in current times. The possibility of getting shot is too high....
