Most of the old clothes I get from my mother because she kept like basically all the things she collected or made by herself somewhere in our house and now I have like 5 awesome jackets, I got more shirts and sweaters over the time, I just love it!
We don’t really have thrift shops here. But the best thrift shop for me is my grandma’s house. Cuz she keeps all the vintage clothes my aunts, uncles, my mom, grandpa and she used to wear. So whenever I visit my grandma in summer I dive into the pile of old clothes that kept in the storage room and get the clothes I’d wear. And from all the clothes I got from there I love my grandpa’s old denim jacket and his red scarf so much. My grandpa was a stylish man. I love him so so much and I miss him so much. He passed away like 10 years ago. And also thanks to my grandma who keeps all those old memories with her, in her house. Grandparents are the best❤️✌🏻And thanks Conan U always make me happy and inspire me to work harder.
My favourite thrifted thing is this oversized vintage trench coat. It's four sizes to big and it comes to my knees, but it is super cosy and keeps me warm during early morning bike rides to the train station. It was $20 but the day I got it, it was half price! I think it is from the 80's since I can't find the designer any where online. Your videos always inspire me to give thrift shops a go instead of just glancing at them.
I also start uni next week and Im hella nervous too, I'm scared I wont be able to organise my current day job with my evening classes Im shook by how similar our lives have been until now wtf

My favorite thrift store purchase was made just a few days ago when I found red canvas heelys. I’ve literally wanted them for two years and I stumbled across them at my local thrift shop. Bless up. Heelys are wicked cool.
You have to do a lot more work I think to find really great plus size clothing. BUT the best tip I have is to look in really unexpected places. Places like Goodwill are your best friend, because even though it's an Obvious place to look from second-hand clothing, I feel like people only want to look at really trendy vintage shops. And since a lot of the stuff being donated to Goodwill is from middle-aged to elderly people, they have Very sizable plus size sections. Vintage shops are almost always very curated to only carry much smaller sizes--not to mention, they are A Lot more expensive than a basic thrift store. But also look at places like garage sales, flee markets, bargain stores, dollar stores, overstock stores, even your Grandma's closet. People have No Idea the kind of treasure they have when they give it away or resell it for $1. And you can very easily take advantage of that by regularly looking in all your local thrift stores frequently. Whenever I have some down time, I like to peruse somewhere like Goodwill, because they have So Much stuff, and it's relaxing to just look through all the clothes. But the other most important tip is to look at Everything in a thrift store. Look at the women's section, the men's section, in furniture, in the media section, and every type and size of clothing, because you can find a hidden treasure anywhere. Don't expect to find something Perfect every time you step into a thrift store, but I guarantee you can find something you like just about every time you go thrifting if you keep an open mind about to scope and range of the items you buy. The tackiest, ugliest sweater can be made great if you try. And a lot of the "aesthetic" of an item comes from how you wear it--so keep that in mind! Don't be afraid of clothes that look like they belong to someone's middle aged aunt, because you never know the kind of looks you can achieve with those kinds of unexpected items. And the broader your horizons, the more great finds you'll have no matter your size. lol I feel like this is really long and extra, but trust me on this.
