The Denmark-France fight was just a huge cringefest. Denmark slaughtered half of their own men, and France wasted so much ammo.

I guess it was the opposite, anyway great match and the map was great! Keep up the Napoleon videos please, they never disappoint.
My Great Grandfather was in the Royal Dragoon Guards in WW1.

Mine was in WW1 and signed up underaged, then fought in WW2 and survived, prior to joining the war he was nicked for being a conman.

At some point, I was really mad at these players, then I just accepted it and began enjoying their 'weird' moves hahah
I love how when Apollo saw the huge cavalry force, he called it cavalry, but when there's one cavalry unit, he calls it cav. 👍🏻

At 23:23 that bayonet charge that Captain got killed before reaching the Credit Infantry, I thought it was really tragic it really shows the horror of this battle.

12:19 why the hell is there a Swedish solider running on the battlefield?
I like how there were a few riderless horses wandering around. Too often the horses and the riders die at the same time in these games so it's nice to have that extra bit of realism where the horse does survive sometimes.
What happened with the French young guard during 9:00-10:00 might have been a "lag order". When there are lags during the moment you give troops an order, they might get an complete different (and in most cases an completely ridiculous) order. This is actually the worst part of having lags in a game, because sometimes you need to give the same order multiple times just to get your troops doing the right order and not the "lag order", and that does take you alot of precious time and distracts your attention.

I'm a noob, but I probably could position my line men better in that slope. That should have been a turkey shoot if they were not shooting in the ground!

wasn't it very ridiculous how the used to fight before and during the 1800 like it's just so unbelievable imaging you being one of the line infantry int he first row just standing waiting to be shot so so very scary eh
It was scary, but Thanks the to inaccuracy of the guns it was the most effective way to fight. Idk if I would more scared to fight in a line battle or have to charge a line with bayonets
It's worse when you got hit by a canonball or move up to replace the guy infront of you and step on his corpse
It's like choosing between the passenger's seat or the driver's seat when driving off a cliff. Luckily most men were bad shots back then.
I'd think your lack of punctuation is more ridiculous.
You know there was like a rule that consisted in counting the soldiers that survived untill 10, and then kill him. This was because they don't wanted the soldiers retreat from battle.

British cavalry unit in the left of minimap at 13:37 moved from allied battleline to behind enemy lines whit out attacking them and then moved past the enemies to right side of the map in 32:07.

During the french-danish firefight upon the ridge I actually had to skip a couple of minutes ahead, because that hurts to look at. Lmao

After a horrible time moving into a new apartment it felt good to kick back and enjoy an epic battle, cheers Apollo!
Some players really scared of losing troops when skirmish with enemy light troops,but well,deal with it.When you advance your light troops also,also keep a common line infantry near and it best to kept them not behind the light infantry because of stray bullets.
When the lights engaged,quickly advance the line infantry to the front while the enemy reloading.A good volley fire will shake them up a bit.
While the light infantry,hold their fire,and put them in light infantry tactic (before the battle,of course)and put them front of the line infantry.
Its a tough fight but worth the shot.
The map is big,there also a way to skin a cat.

Dude I love your videos I'm completely hooked like I'm binge watching these things until 3 am
1. Red French was MVP imo.
2. I don't understand what Demark was thinking with the cavalry. Surely you feign a charge, or maybe even commit, force the enemy into square, and then quicky run your troops forward without having to worry about a line of guns firing into you. Instead Denmark just kept sacrificing unit after unit.

You should seriously consider trying out the ntw3 mod for Napoleon; it makes for a much fresher experience than vanilla, with more historically accurate mechanics, objective-based battles, new units and factions, and more!

The chaos of battle... people lost within the war, terrified and not knowing what to do because of their officers... Well, Otomans as allies of España? XD XD XD hilarious!!! Britain was an ally against the French invaders... so this is a bizzarre allies battle, isn't it?

Denmark should have pushed cav around through the right flank trees and co-ordinated attacks on the french from the rear. Also should have had his grenadiers on his right flank taking and pushing the ridge line.
