Brooke reminds Stephanie that she never had an affair with Nick, although Stephanie is certain that Brooke will lose everything. Stephanie believes that Brooke has lost Bridget forever. At marriage counseling, Taylor admits that she kissed Hector. Ridge is stunned by Taylor’s admission. Bridget tells Nick that she feels like she’s nothing but an obligation to him; that the day Taylor came back, Ridge went back to Taylor and Brooke went to Nick. Bridget feels that is when she lost nick forever. Bridget leaves her wedding ring on the table as she walks out on Nick. - Розваги
Great example of communal gaslighting: Brooke stabs Brigitte in the back, and the one who points out the wound-Stephanie-is the “bad” one. Everyone one else defends Brooke. The “I love you more than anything” and “I would never hurt you” are phrases every abuser uses as nauseam.
Gaslighting? Bridget should have never been in a relationship with Nick in the first place. As much as Brooke haters don't want to hear this. Wow I don't blame people's anger towards her when it came to Deacon, the situation with Nick and Bridget will Bridget brought that pain on herself who in their right mind pursue men that their mothers been with? She was entertaining A man that she deep down inside had questions about his loyalty to her from the beginning and always asking her to give her reassurance that her mother wouldn't be a problem. Anybody in their right mind that felt sorry for Bridget in this situation is crazy. I never felt sorry for her not under these circumstances the only time I felt sorry was for when she miscarried those babies. Other than that she brought all this on her own. I blame her and Nick more than I ever would Brooke in this situation. And I'm not saying that because I'm a book fan I'm saying that because that is the blatant truth but her haters don't want to see it that way but this is how it is I'm calling a spade a spade
Can anyone plz remind me why Ridge was such a catch that grown intelligent, educated, successful beautiful women actually wait around for him to decide who he wanted to be with??

Why does Ridge always downplay Taylor's feelings!? He knows just how much she loves him yet he never takes her seriously! He's always throwing Brooke in her face by talking about her, running to her rescue, she calls he goes running to her! He expects Taylor to understand an makes light of her feelings!

Ridge deserved a hard slap here lol I wish they would have had Bridget end the relationship here and then bring on a new love interest for her I felt bad they never gave her a man that could be loyal to her she had a little thing going with C.J. Oscar and Dante but it never developed much I don’t get why they had to do her like that and then always have her forgive and forget nah she should have gotten better
They so should have hooked up Bridget with CJ! They had amazing chemistry and both had just lost people that they loved. They comforted each other and could have started a beautiful relationship, but they had Bridget fall for Ridge and CJ fall for Amber.

Bridget is always in the shadow of her mom where men are concerned! She went after Deacon, got pregnant! She went after Nick, thinking Bridget's marriage was over, Nick falls for her! Not once did she ever think about her daughters feelings in both situations! She always has an excuse for betraying her daughter! Claims that she loves her an only wants her happiness! She even has Eric fighting for her an he knows what Brooke has done yet he defends her! Brooke knows no boundaries when it comes to a man she wants!
And it's always Stephanie's fault. Brooke don't care about anyone but herself. Bridgett should've disowned her for betraying her a second time. Next time she gets married keep her husbands away from Brooke.
This should prove why people wondered why both Ridge and Brooke kept going back to each other. They both don't care who they hurt as long as they get what they want. Especially Ronn Moss version of Ridge.

I think the idea is just grotesque: a mother with her own daughter's husband? And that several times? How can you still look at yourself in the mirror without being disgusted?
But the whole thing qrotesque. Even if nothing happened between Bricky, after Brooke and Deacon why would Bridget want Nick who had past with Brooke, had slept with Brooke and almost have child together. It's just too much baggage!!!
I think it's more grotesque that a daughter wanted her mother's lover. Someone who was deeply in love with her mother at that. Nick's old enough to be Bridget's father. Nick was with Bridget only because he thought Brooke had went back to Ridge. A one night stand. When the truth was revealed, Bridget had already laid claims on him by getting pregnant. What were Nick and Brooke suppose to do? They were sensitive towards Bridget's feelings and sacrificed their own. Bridget cannot be the victim because she ignored the truth. Only when she realized that they still loved each other it was all their fault. Bridget can be manipulating as well. Here, she's being honest.
@@lisas3545 I'm about to cry. Brooke and sensitive? She was never sensitive when it came to neglecting her own feelings for someone else. She always took herself to be more important. And when she slept with Deacon back then, there was no excuse for it. She was being reckless. What triggered this in Bridget and how she could ever trust her mother again, was later shown by Nick. That eternal "Brooke was with someone, so no other woman has any right to ever fall in love with this man" is so ridiculous because Brooke has had all the men on the show. besides that, Nick fell in love with Bridget as well. Wasn't he entitled to it just because he burned his fingers on Brooke? And about old age: Brooke was with Eric at the time, who could have been her father by then. Did she stop that? No, because she always wanted to be a Forrester and that got her where she was going.
I'm shocked nothing has happened with Brooke and Liam yet in the newer episode. It's Brooke's disgusting depraved pattern with Deacon, Nick, Oliver... just a matter of time.

I didn’t like the change in the character Ridge in 2005/2006. Ride was better in 97-2001. He was more clear in his feelings and was clearly in love with his wife Taylor.
And in the end Bridget betrayed Nick - BIG TIME!!

Bridgette did the right thing by ending things with Nick. She'd have spent years having to live with the risk that Brooke and Nick would be committing adultery. She deserved a man who wanted her and wasn't just accepting her as a second choice (although I have to say that what Nick and Brooke have is more a sexual chemistry than genuine love.) You could say that Bridgette got out of this relationship in the nick of time (sorry for the pun!)

Stephanie's whole life was built on one lie and she became a judgemental person.
It wasn't a lie, she didn't know the truth as for Brooke she deliberately insinuates herself in Stephanie's family via husband, children, grandchildren, and causes nothing but pain and suffering to all of them. Even when she gets whatever idiot falls for her she drops him for the next unavailable man and leaves him with nothing. Stephanie is dead and Brooke sees fit to go after and hurt Steffy and Thomas for kicks.

@@OklahomaGirl 2001 Ridge's accident literally shows Stephanie not knowing Massimo was his father. The doctor had to break it down for her how it was possible. She kept the secret after the fact but always detested Brooke way before that and with good reason. So the only lie her life was built on was that Eric loved her when he simply didn't want anyone else to have her for fear of missing out on something. The children guilting them into being together didn't help matters much either.
Stephanie never takes responsibility for the horrible things she has done to Brooke. We see it but the other characters do not. Here she's gloating after creating a huge wedge between Brooke and her child. She does not care that she hurt Bridget. She only cares about winning back Ridge and ERic's trust at Bridget's expense. Susan F is a excellent actor and brought Stephanie's horrible qualities to life on screen. In real life, these two are very close.
Stephanie didn’t make Brooke act the way she is acting toward Bridget (twice). Brooke also like gloating when her or Hope are winning.
