I like how close it is again even though it was so one-side in the first few rounds. Fun fact, I had the world record in Rotation Station for like 3 days when the game was new, because I found some sneaky shortcuts. But when others discovered them too, I couldn't keep up anymore. I think my record at the end was like 16'10 (PAL) or something. Really grinded that game. But it was propably designed to be played with a control stick and the L/R-buttons in mind.
Who else loved rotation station, I definitely did it was my top 3 minigames of all time in Mario party. I played for hours upon hours as a kid and I got a very amazing record of under 25 seconds. Yeah I was that addicted
It's my brother's favorite in 8. I kinda like it. Just wish it didn't use motion controls like 95% of this game does! (Still love this game though, along with DS and Island Tour)
When I was a kid, it was Rotation Station, Ion The Prize, & Settle It In Court that made me never want to play Test For the Best, because I was THAT bad at them.
I haven't actually played that minigame too much so I don't remember my opinion on it. Duel games are already rare to begin with compared to other minigame types and with there being so many in this game, I haven't gotten it very often.
So I looked up somethings about dice roles in Mario Party, after Tim drew triple sevens. What I found was this: 1. The odds of throwing triple seven on a dice role are 1 in 128 or so, because every dice role is important. 2. Only in Mario Party 8, drawing triple seven gives 100 coins. From the classic Mario Party games, Mario Party 2 to Mario Party 7 through Mario Party DS all give 50 coins. So the fact that Tim was the first one to do so couldn't have come at a better time.

Seeing Emile's candies made me think that it would be really cool if having three of the same type of candy would power them up if you use all three at once like Zap would destroy all coins Thrice would become Quad, stealing three times as much etc.
I've actually theorized about that in previous Mario Party games, like if you get 3 Boo's Crystal Ball's in MP4, you can use them all at once to activate Big Boo from Boo's Haunted Bash, & steal a star from everyone for 80, rather than 150. However, nothing actually came of this theorizing.

Also, of course Tim chooses to do a "Number 2" on the scissors game, lol
It was one of those moments when you put your phone down to get a drink but the video keeps playing and your entire fam is there.
*and the chugga screamed*
THIS IS THE 1ST BOARD!! HOW IS THIS MARIO PARTY THE BEST ONE OUT OF ALL THE MARIO PARTY GAMES THERUNAWSYGUYS HAVE EVER DONE ALREADY?!?!?
Err... Six got the same thing, only it was also on the first board. And on seven, hoo boy. It was also very intense.
Can't you just let other people enjoy this hilarious board? -_-
Something really, REALLY turned around after Emile changed to Toad.
You can make fun of Mario Party 8 but you got to admit that the minigame hub theme is the best one when in comes to Mario party
20:38
The luck of chuggaaconroy knows no bounds
A little detail to annoy your friends with: every character has 2 different taunts that occur when you shake horizontally and vertically~
Emile: "I don't think we are going to have a fun time playing this game."
Mario Party 7: "Oh, yeah!?"
The editor Dan writing "it's all good" at 21:28 is an underrated moment in this video lol
Who else loved rotation station, I definitely did it was my top 3 minigames of all time in Mario party. I played for hours upon hours as a kid and I got a very amazing record of under 25 seconds. Yeah I was that addicted
I agree. Rotation Station was one of my favorites as well.
@@kdknight1297 you can pay carnival cards in order to get the minigames you don't have
I ADORE THAT POLLYANNA COVER SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! It’s literally my favorite song ever right now, and idk if anything will top it!
This was my first every Mario Party Game, and this episode is proof of how crazy and tense things can get.
Sheesh, Tim lands on the Lucky Space again, we have a luck based game, and Emile steals 2 stars from Daisy. Quite the wild few turns here
So I looked up somethings about dice roles in Mario Party, after Tim drew triple sevens. What I found was this:
John the Crossover Master Emile actually rolled triple 7s first back in MP6.
Oh right, I probably forgot about that. Tim still got the better outcome since he got twice as many coins.
Triple seven would be 1/1000, since it’s (1/10)^3
Right, I'm probably confusing it with double seven.
Yoshi's the best with the clock level because he is constantly aware of time due to never paying taxes and getting notices every hour
There may be a lot of dual minigames, but most of them are either 4-player, 2-player, or battle minigames.
Hey, at least its not Mario Party DS, where EVERY duel mini-game is just 4-player & 2v2 mini-games.
Man this has to be one of the craziest first boards in TRG history.
20:39
Congratulations! Your chuggaaconroy has evolved into R2D2!
TastyBrush yah he did
8:56 Emile called, he wants his luck back!
He got it back 12 minutes later
"Everybody cheatin' but Waluigi!!!"
Damn, this whole board has been intense. If this is how the whole LP will be, then I'm all for it.
Me too! I intensely hunger for more close games like this...
Chugga's screaming caused my computer to crash. I hope you're happy.
It's barely begun, and I can already tell that this is gonna be a great LP.
I have a gut feeling that Emile will win this board.
Bonus stars since it’s near the end
Minigame:Jon(beating AI by 10)
Candy:Jon
Running:Emile(beating Tim by 9)
Shopping:Jon(beating Tim by 10)
Green:Jon
Red:Jon(beating AI/Emile by 1)
So Jon could sweep the bonus stars and comeback because he has 5/6
20:35 REALLY?!? That has to be the most disgusting star steal I've ever seen.
This is the best mario party fight me John
That clock-winding sound is really... soothing.
4:08 SO THAT was the mario party 4 redacted seen about
Damn that description. Always an innuendo in this play through.
20:40 Oh he 100% knew how to rig the wheel to make the dart land on the 2 spot, don't @ me.
1:22 WWII Dogfight colourised
16:51 I hope they don't complain about that everytime they play one of those mini games. Like we get it. Motion controls suck.
So good to see TRG enjoying the first board of Mario party... yet again!
Man, this board just keeps getting more and more insane.
Man what a start to this LP.
Tim is being the luckiest with Lucky Spaces and triple 7s
Chugga's winning from knowing how to throw a virtual dart
And the game is ACTUALLY FUN
.
Woop
14:59. (Sarcastic voice) Is that a Pokémon X and Y (or X,Y,Z) anime series reference? 🤨🤔
Yup.
Emile timed that dart throw perfectly! And it happened to the CPU so there's no ruined friendships 😂
I totally forgot Dan edits these now. He is good at what he does.
20:20 Tom Fawkes, ACFan120, or JoliVector, if any of you edit this moment into an animation, I will love you forever, and I'm sorry for the headaches caused by it. Love all you guys!
This is legit the wildest Mario Party session I've ever witnessed.
chuggaa luck makes an epic comeback
This has been the most high scoring game in this series so far! The lead has been going back and forth.
The beginning of ProtonJon’s hatred of In The Nick Of Time.
I remember as a kid I never got the lucky space on this board. I always wanted to see what was over there. Tim, your my childhood hero.
Luck's everywhere today! I'm rooting for Tim and Chugga!!
17:37 I'm surprised Tim didn't chime in with "fried mushroom heads!"
CG!
Cocount Gun!
He's the leader of the bunch!
You know him well.
He's finally back.
To fire in spurts!
This is the most intense game of Mario party I have ever seen.
Tim: Falco’s ship in the repair dock

@PressL2P
@lionseatnoobs
It's come full circle! LOL
