I hope people realize that this season is a learning curve for Adam. As a fan, I don't expect him to do well this season but it is a hope. I am glad he is getting seat time but what I am hopeful for is next season.

Yeah, it's just common sense and he's doing pretty good for a first timer. But there are people that don't understand "a learning curve" and either think he's trash or super good (yes man style). Or there are the sarcastic ones who always trash talk just so the fans stfu, cuz it do be getting annoying trying to interact in the chat, so you gotta see it from different perspectives.
Dude Adam's self ownership is great and definitely hope he keeps what Vaughn and Chelsea are saying forefront and just keeps moving forward as he's been doing. Everyone acts like he should be winning right out the gate but that's so dismissive of all the top notch competition in FD. He's got a lot of skill and so do they just going to take time getting used to the mustang and learning the little minutia of the chassis
Yeah some people don't realize a lot of the people he's racing against have been driving these tracks since Adam was like 5 years old lol that's crazy to think about.
Honestly, this past weekend was some of the best driving I’ve seen out of pretty much every driver, everyone stepped it up and it’s crazy to see the level of competition right now, Adam didn’t get knocked out due to some huge mistake, it was one small mistake that is made by pros aswell, look at last year to now and see how far he’s come, insane, I’ve never been this into FD until this year because everyone is starting to step it up and it’s rad!!
My exact thoughts while I was watching, everyone seems to have really stepped up their level of competition! Looking forward to the rest of the season!
We went to ATL for FD again this year. Adam did great. He is getting better and better every time he gets in the seat. Looking forward to seeing Adam (live) again next year.
That mustang is so clean. I think what I like most about racing that I learned from driving simulators is that it doesn't matter what you're racing, it's always a challenge of a different sort. From the very delayed consequences of decisions made trying to get the best time in an econobox, to managing and timing your tires on high powered vehicles. I love cars, but I mostly just like to look at them. Racing is a lot of time and effort.
You've got the knowledge and the talent. You're a driver, just learning the new chassis, N/A car. Just go out and have fun. You're a beast with a wheel
Adam. Do not beat your self up!! These guy have been driving pro for years now, you’ve just jumped into and new chassi let alone RTR and you’re still up there with them? You’ve got everything to be proud of my man!
When you're on a quasi-factory team with championship caliber equipment, it's a whole different kind of pressure. LZ has a lot of fun with competition, but I think part of the learning curve is getting the focus in at all times. I don't think he's in the car just to sell merch, so eventually the results will come. I think he'll get there.
Long story short he taking drifting more serious which yeah of course it’s always good to have fun but fun don’t get you W and I’m proud of him admitting that can’t wait to see you at Orlando
I want you to succeed so bad and am always scared that patience is going to run out before you get competitive, but I just realized how young you are. You have forever to go. It will come. You are getting way better each round. “The game is slowing down” is a sports term and it applies here too. It’s starting to slow down for you. I can feel it.
Adam, realize that you are here to enjoy and have fun. Dont be so hard on yourself. We can all agree competing with the best drivers in the world can be overwhelming but just have fun. You do better when you’re having fun.
u did FKIN awesome dude!!! its hard when u can't practice in those cars IN those tracks..u run em a few times n ur in there with a dude thats run it for 19 years..watching chelsea up close as u are now...IM SO STOKED cuz i feel you will jump skill level wise...u got what it takes for sure to win!!!!!
I watched Adam drive in ATL his first year and the improvement from then to now is absolutely insane this man had progressed so much in the last few years this year will be full of more progression
Dude been saying it, your attitude and drive are key and skills hard to teach if possible at all. Your born to grind, do it while you can and enjoy. Haters can’t so they talk about it, you’re bout it bout it, nice work. Cars look great this year on rtr. 🤘🔥😎🔥🤘
Keep your head up Adam. You will continue to grow as a driver, no doubt. You will have your time eventually. Till then and even then. Just go out there and drive. Have Fun.
I’m glad to see people are starting to understand that this season is adams first with RTR, it’s meant as a learning curve for him. Vaughn even said on Instagram that he’s just happy to see Adam improve this year in order to do much better next season.
i’ve been watching since the old bmx days when you and bert had the apartment together and seeing you go from the bmw then drifting the cream 240 at OSW to now in FD is crazy
Exactly the same. As a racing driver myself the amount of learnig Adam has did is amazing!!! And the fact that he has true friends that he is able to provide a living for them is absolutely crazy!!
It’s really mind blowing and jus amazing to see how far you’ve come. I’ve been with the channel for a long time just crazy to see the growth after all these years you’ve helped me a lot with the videos at my bad times of my personal life love too see the good work I’m almsot proud lol
Great driving. Winning the first couple rounds isn't the goal, progessing your driving is which is exactly what he is doing. Back when he started in his old videos it seemed like he always had an excuse for errors and they were usually car related... really good to see the transparency and when driver errors are made, you just own up to them.
I really respect all the fd drivers, just watching the videos I myself am stressed out an on my nerves... you guys are insane... I might be wrong but I think the pros just love drifting and even being competitive they still love the drift and have fun.....
I’m actually really hyped how well the lead was. You can tell Adam is still not super comfortable with the chassis just yet. So I know by the end of the season we’ll see a complete different Adam after some more seat time in the mustang. I would definitely love to see him build a “street style” drift rocket mustang to get more used to the chassis in general
I feel like this season in particular. Adam is really showing that he belongs in FD. That car looks like a handful and he's still able to put it where he want to. I feel like the third season after he is really settled into the sport those results will start showing.
Keep learning and improving... you can see you getting more comfortable and doing better. Along with that you aren't tearing up equipment driving over your head.
You just don’t trust yourself completely in the car yet, don’t be bummed cause you know with more seat time in the chassis you gonna get it really quick. The car heavier then the s15 and it’s also not a car you feel at home in like the s chassi. My man went from Amateur to pro in a matter of 5 years where as most people been doing this for 15+ big up to u for making this all happen for yourself
I'm not super active in the car world anymore, but as someone who had an LZ BMX sticker on his s13 in 2014 it's nice to see that you're still loving what you do!
You’ve come a really loooong way man and we all got to see it happen. Win or lose, im so stoked that you made it and you even earned a seat with (not just any pro team) but RTR! Much deserved for your work through the years!!!
I've been watching since the boys BMX trip to Barcelona.. I'm so proud from where you've come to where you're at now. Massive props man, also you have some amazing friends.
i came from fort worth Texas to go see Atlanta FD this weekend and it was 1000% worth it! it was really great to see how nice all of the drivers were! if you are ever debating on buying tickets to go to a FD race, just know that it was worth every penny.
A few years ago, a guy here in New Zealand went racing. Bent a few cars and won a few races. He got told by a mate to think about where you are on the track and what you want the car to do. he took a back step and took this in and changed his style. he started winning more and bending less. He ended up building his own cars that suited his style of driving. Moved to the UK and built a few more cars, his name was Bruce McLaren. The McLaren emblem is actually a Kiwi.
You can’t even be mad about that top 32 chase run. It’s not that he did a horrible run. Forsberg is just an amazing driver and if Adam didn’t mess up the entry he woulda been on his door the whole run. Definitely seeing improvements. Keep doing what you’re doing
Let’s go I was the kid in the great adidas shirt at the end let’s goooooo. Great experience loved you driving sad you did not win but you got the next one.
Man once you learn the chassis better you’ll be unstoppable in that rtr mustang your a grate driver so it’ll come just more seat time and you’ll get there I’m still proud off you

Watching the klutchkicker video the in car you could hear how you were thinking more technically sounded inspiring for what’s to come being a part of RTR seems to be helping your mental growth where it comes to driving!
My 3rd time as a spectator at Drift Atlanta, that track is an absolute monster, doesn't show as well from the camera. Getting the first clip perfect is incredibly hard because of the raw speed as you are pinned going down a BIG hill. The one thing I noticed from the top 4 is that everyone that made it that far was super aggressive, ran very close on their chase, and just had to make it work or whomever was chasing them back would eat them alive. Going to have to shred some bumpers bud, time to get rowdy. I think you brought a bunch of extra people out as well, it was a huge crowd, and you were right when you said that people probably don't get the right impression from the videos, the lines to see you, Chelsea and Vaughn was halfway down the paddock. Need some more shirts and hoodies that have a little less junk all over them too, didn't see anything I liked. I don't care what Vaughn says, front graphics are lame. Oh, and Chelsea got ROBBED, should have never been a one more time.
Man I was so sad before this video because there is no emotion and we know nothing how you did it feel or why that happened but am happy for you now that i know you are doing great and still pushing forward and looking so much better than i was thinking hope you give them hell next time ❤️❤️👌🤜🤛💪
Bro the rtr mustang is sick as shit and if Adam keeps to it he can easily top 5 honestly his first quali run was sick you can see he has a ton of potential he just needs to keep his head down and keep grinding
You did great adam just unfortunate coming up against Forsberg In top 32, from a small light s15 to a heavy and big rtr mustang is a big difference also. We are proud of you Adam on how far you’ve come ❤
Atlanta seemed to be a pretty tough track for most drivers this past weekend. Lots of drivers spinning out, dropping 2, 3, or even 4 tires, outside zone 2 seems like it was difficult to hit very well right after outside zone 1, and it just all around seemed to make even the best drivers struggle. With this year being a huge learning curve for Adam, I don’t expect to see him win much, but he’s really starting to whip that RTR mustang like a boss! Can’t wait to see what happens in Orlando!!
Bro your doing really good… gata think no mater what type of racing I’ve been apart of when a driver switched up chassis it takes them almost a full season before they get rockin and rollin… just takes times… I’ve been in your shoes it will be worth all the hard work etc when you get your first W
For real. The bias is so freakin obvious sometimes it's painful. not with this specific run (I do believe Forsberg had the W on that) but it's just so common
The argument could be made both ways. Expectation vs Reality and so on. One thing to consider is that Adam is exceptionally good at adapting to the new.
You did great and looked good in the mustang! You're improving every single time your out there. You're literally being put up against the best most of the time like Forsberg and Aasbo and it shows you'll get there one day. Keep it up man!
I hope people realize that this season is a learning curve for Adam. As a fan, I don't expect him to do well this season but it is a hope. I am glad he is getting seat time but what I am hopeful for is next season.

Don't ever listen to the haters! Just keep moving forward and sideways!
Forsberg has been a favourite of the judges for years, probably because he’s a "veteran". The guy could fly off track and he’d get the win😂
For real. The bias is so freakin obvious sometimes it's painful. not with this specific run (I do believe Forsberg had the W on that) but it's just so common
The argument could be made both ways. Expectation vs Reality and so on. One thing to consider is that Adam is exceptionally good at adapting to the new.
Great run bro, let's get it in Orlando......
You are literally killing the game brother!
You did great and looked good in the mustang! You're improving every single time your out there. You're literally being put up against the best most of the time like Forsberg and Aasbo and it shows you'll get there one day. Keep it up man!
