I know it's filler, but as a kid I always got a huge kick out of Goku totally freaking out and acting like a big baby at the prospect of getting a shot lol. As an adult, I think there's a bit more to it now. The utter ridiculousness of a guy who can tackle planet conquering aliens but dissolves into a childish fit of fear when faced with a little needle prick notwithstanding, in a way that fear makes him a bit more relatable, if that makes any sense. Getting a shot doesn't bother me personally, at least not anymore, but I know that the fear of needles is a very real thing that some people deal with and it never goes away; in my case, once I got to be around 8 or 9, my dread of shots pretty much faded, but there are some folks who aren't so fortunate and can't quite vanquish that fear so easily.
