I had drove for Lyft and Uber. I didn't make much. It's really not worth it to be a driver. It's also dangerous to be a driver. You never know what to expect. Most people are pleasant during the ride. There had been a rise of crime in the Uber game. I see it on the news all the time. Very shocking. Being shot or stabbed. when the driver doesn't even carry cash. Yes. Go ahead a strike. I will keep my fingers crossed for you under paid people. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Everybody is suffering from inflation. They don't deserve more money any more than anyone else with a job. But if we all got raises then it will increase inflation and we do nothing but chase our tail. Therefore I can understand demanding more money. But I can't support your strike.
You don't get it! Rideshare companies are taking a bigger cut of the fare than ever. Drivers used to keep 80% of the fare and now they are lucky to be paid 50%. It has nothing to do with inflation.

Uber drivers could gross $300 a day in 2021. Now they only get around $200 working 11 hours.
