I think scenes like this show that Frank does genuinely care about his kids, but his addictions have such a hold on him he can almost never see passed it.
@@farzaslasher422 oh no completely agreed, frank is a terrible father and i'd never argue otherwise, it's just... well good writing to show that it's not as simple as being a drunk who only cares about himself, he does care about his kids but he's such a mess of a person and has so many addictions, that it never shows
This episode was a fun and satisfying. Fiona and majority of the viewers knew nothing good will come of it for using 70 grand worth of meth that Monica somehow had in her "possesion". The episode's title definitely summed up Monica's legacy. 😂
Series 8 has a lot of good episodes, but this is one of my favorite episodes. Having the Gallagher's altogether and standout is a beautiful gem. And its value an account of action.
Frank should've stayed sober and changed throughout the rest of the show, and had more scenes like this. That way when he got demtia it wouldve been heartbreaking. As it is this was just out of the blue for frank
@@deanesposito4708 nice take, I wouldn’t mind seeing that either. I just feel like Frank’s alcoholism makes shameless, shameless but I guess franks not the only antagonists so seeing him sober up woulda been interesting
And he shouldn't be praised for it because he was the one who got them involved in this mess in the first place. Frank defending his kids was the bare minimum for putting them all in danger including Fiona who had nothing to do with it and was dragged into it.
This moment was so satisfying. These four effed up and they now turn to Fiona to ONCE AGAIN solve their problems. For example, her starring down at Debbie and putting her ass back in line…..loved it.
i never liked frank, but as i grow older i realize how much im like him. maybe that was the point of his character, to find something we can relate to while also being an example of something we shouldn’t choose to be. some things can’t be chosen though, and thats where i relate.
I really wish they d listened to her. Those drugs were monicas mess and hers only. She didnt have to include her children in that. And they didnt have to accept her "gifts" either.
Thank you so much for posting this one. I had been requesting it for a while now. Thank You. Also don’t forget the one of lip staring into bed meme from season 1 please.
Remember this is the real Frank here: not an ounce of alcohol in his system and willing to do whatever he has to to help or protect his kids. * I mean that he kept repeating the cycle and falling back on the bottle certainly didn't help things. It's what ended up ultimately killing him in the end.
0:34 No Fiona you’re still wrong on some level, she’s got nerve telling her siblings not to be involved with the meth when when she left drugs out and almost killed Liam in the process
@@user-fr7vs3pc4l No we're not because we did in the other videos. This is a different scenario involving drugs. Monica had 70 grand worth of meth that was never hers to have and give, but stolen and stashed in a shoddy garage. On the contrary, Fiona's initial response of not using the drugs for personal use is actually good character development.
The drugs left by the man who wasn’t even welcome in her home? Weird y’all like to give Fiona full blame knowing full well some loser guy kept inserting himself in her life 😂
I would have added that I won't kill him. I'd bury him down there with Monica and let the last thing he thinks about be how bad it smells down there. On a side note, something I've noticed from TV shows where people are being buried or unburied. They never have vaults. For anyone that's not familiar with a vault, it's a concrete encasement inside the crave with a concrete lid. For the most part it protects the coffin and body from underground animals, bugs, and weather. If you have to exhume a body you just take the lid off.
It’s remarkable how often these punks forget that literally the only reason they are still breathing is because of Fiona…. are they appreciative? NO. Do they help her when she needs them? NOPE. Do they listen to her mainly sensible ideas? HELL NO. Are they terrible people and siblings? YUP.
I love when Carl admitted he was wrong at the end lol

That’s exactly what it is but it also goes to show that not everyone should have kids

No he didn't... he called cps on his own kids and sent them to foster care

Liam should’ve been there next to Fiona shaking his head with his arms folded
Fr the scene would’ve been 10x better 😭😭😭
Right that would be a good scene 😭
Lip looked so mad when Fiona said she was right cuz he knew she was and it’s killing me😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

She dragged the shi outta them in the first scene ngl💀
They had it coming 🤣 cause she was right
As she should
Frank’s stare at 4:33 will never not be terrifying

We got two good speaches out of this. "I was right." from Fiona. and "I will bury you with her." From Frank.
Frank stood up for his kids.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious
Excuse me his name was Francis this season 😂 Frank would never 😂
He got them into that situation 😂😂😂 he wasnt standing up for them he was in survival mode so he wouldn’t get killed
The 1 time
One of the ONLY redeeming frank scenes
“Thanks, Francis”💯🤣💀
Still never going to call him dad, but at least earned to be called a more sophisticated name.

The moment Francis said "Lemme handle this...please!" I knew I was about to witness something amazing!
The funniest part is how they decided to bring Liam along to dig up their mother’s corpse.

2:31 welp 2:37 the way he hops out and is like: oops 3:28 everyone moving to protect each other
2:31 😂
When I first saw that scene and the body flying out of the coffin I died laughing 😂😂😂
How is it nobody notice a a coffin ⚰️ being dug up while it was happening?
🎉🎉Frank Cracks Me Up!!! Bringing a lighted bobcat to a grave sight is a smart crackhead move!!

She was right but I would have done the same thing if I had gotten a random pound of meth 😂😂😂😂

Honestly just made me glad I didnt have to witness her character go down the drain lol
she wanted to flush it, then they would've been killed. i just want to point that out in the middle of her ego trip

Literally my thought
She didn't think she was right for it though. She said as much.
so? doesn't change the fact that she was right about the potential consequences. Does mean she's a hypocrite doesn't make her wrong.
Speaking from experience doesn't make you a hypocrite. It means you learned something and you're sharing the knowledge.

While watching this, I only see Frank Gallagher. I don't see William H. Macy at all! That's the sign of a GREAT actor!
