I’m surprised even with the first dip the whole hair never turned purple. 😢😢 what am I doing wrong I can’t even leave it in for a second without it turning purple...I love all your work
You probably use too much. Next time try to measure out how much you add to the water and try different water temps! Just experiment. Last resort try a different color toning shampoo this brand isn’t the best just because other use it.
It definitely matters. If I remember correctly, it’s a completely different process to color, bleach, or tone synthetic hair than it is for human hair.
I fill up my storage bin with warm water (not hot or it will take too much of the white out) and submerged the hair in that for a couple mins, the heat of the water will take the tint out and you will see the water go slightly purple

I let all my wigs air dry for 24 hours & I use heat protection/oil

It’s ok if it turns purple. When you wash it out, if it’s still purple... just wash it with some regular shampoo or boil it. The purple will come off.
