Microraptor must be set to aggressive. It will attack while on your shoulder. Throw it down, it will attack enemy players not in your tribe or alliances.
There was also cooked mutton and prime from an earlier drop he could use, too. Not as good (except for taming thylas) but better than raw standard meat.

I’ve experienced a few drops that just pass through the mesh and there’s no way to get them unless you ghost seeing you can’t place foundations to allow them to land on and they don’t go through into any caves as I have ghosted to get a couple. My experience with Scorched Earth loot hasn't been good to say the least. I either get consumables (cooked meat, soups, etc), resources (sulfur, polymer, etc), or building pieces (walls, taps, etc) from both supply drops and cave loot crates; I almost never get armor, weapons, or blueprints. My thinking is that either my luck is absolute shit or they've purposely nerfed loot drops from crates to incentivise people to buy Bob's Tall Tales to unlock the ability to use the treasure maps for better loot, which is complete shit if true. Also, where did the myth that having a microraptor protected you from being knocked off by other microraptors? That's never been the case, not even in ASE, lol... As for caves, I don't think any of them are really that easy. Ruins of Nosti (Desert church cave) is probably the hardest because it's PACKED with arthros, and I mean PACKED! It also has a massive insta death pit right before the artifact that you have to be careful of. Grave of the Tyrants (Northwest mountain cave) might be the easiest, it's definitely the shortest of the three, but Kapros can spawn near the beginning, so you have to watch out for those. The Old Tunnels (Central ravine cave) is the first cave I did. It has a couple tight restrictions that big mounts can't get through, and a bunch of gaps that your mount has to be able to jump over. The main thing with all caves is that they all have Rubble Golems in them, which take very little damage, deal a lot of damage, and have a lot of health. I definitely don't think it's possible to do any of these caves on a raptor or with a pack of wolves. An imprinted Thylacoleo and/or an Imprinted Megatherium is a must have for any of these caves. The Thylas bleed shred Rubble Golem health, and the Megatherium obliterates the insects. Megatheriums can tank Rubble Golems easily with the insect killer buff, but still takes a while to kill them.
This is no reflection on you Axeman, your content is great as always but it more a case of watch you fight the bugs over watch you battle the game mechanics. So disappointed in Wildcard, I did not even bother finishing the Island in my own playthrough due to constant bug issues.
The amount of complaining about micro raptors from you and the other boys is really starting to get annoying...... like have none of you ever played ark before ffs get over it or remove them from the server.

Moment you put the soul in I knew it was over as you "sacrifice" the 1st soul to tame it (its gone forever). Can only revive soul in a tamed one x_x
