After biggest layoff in the state's history, how is the city of Kannapolis faring since the closing of Cannon Mills? Much better than you might think.

Thanks for posting! My mother's family is from Kannapolis. I have very good childhood memories visiting my grandparents. Most of her family worked at the mill at some point. I saw it just before the last buildings being demolished. I do hope they can revitalize downtown.
