Howdy. Owner w212 model from 2012. In short: I bought a start/stop keyless entry system and I had to connect it to the EIS with 5 wires. I soldered the wires to the EIS and although the instructions said not to turn the key in the ignition, without realizing it, I turned it. after reconnecting, the car doesn't start, but the gears go, current enters the dashboard, the key turns, but it doesn't start. I opened the EIS box and saw that one of the solders had peeled off from the board. I restored the circuit and connected everything (as it was originally), the car still does not want to start. I bought another EIS with the same series and said to go with EIS, ESL and the keys to synchronize... and here is the SURPRISE--- there is no ESL on the column but a sponge. I can't find either the plug that should come in ESL or any emulator. How is it possible, what is the phase? What do you know from your experiences?

This is so informative.. As a newbie in the programming industry I can safely say I have leant so much from watching your videos... Am also looking to purchase the autel.. But my question is can i see you using the IM508... Does it have any shortfalls compared to the Im608...
@@autopurlieu yes I have read all data through the gbox but apparently is the Eis faulty and we want to order new one from dealer. So just need to write data through the gbox? Or need soldering as well the new one?
@@przemekfryc5495 if you can read the old one with the gbox “yes”, Like in this video, it can’t be done by gbox, so I had to solder it. You must be able to read the file form the old one then transfer it to the new one
@@autopurlieu so the flash data and eeprom correct? And the just write data flash and eeprom to the brand new from dealer. But you think always has be done this way? Or possibly by Gbox the w204 ? Thanks
I did the procedure through the first method you mention because I had the password already, however, when everything is finished the EIS information shows 0 kilometers and the key slots as not used and not active. I noticed the part numbers of the donor EIS is different as the original is A204 545 09 08 and the new one is A204 545 13 08. How can one now if they're interchangeable? Should I try to read and write the data the way you did?
@@taz8436 I am not sure why there’s no flash. Try to read the used one, see what it looks like reading the eeprom compare to the original . I have not clone that kind of Benz to be honest
Hello I cannot read w207 through bench neither through OBD bench or IR bench keeps telling me cannot connect ecu. How can I retrieve data through eeprom I don’t see w207 in the autel 608 pro 2 Mercedes immobilizer files please help
@@OtongGroogietramper I have only used autel in508. My device has an instruction how it’s done just like I showed in this video. I am unsure if goes the same as your machine

At the end , you shown ELV/EIS tester. It is not possible make the same test at Autel?

As far as of key programming , im508 is same as im608.
Only advantage of im608 is it has better diagnostic side

Yes, if your key fob and EIS don’t sync together and no file inside , it’s unprogrammed .

If it didn’t, then do flash and eeprom

Are you connecting through pins or soldering ?
