I love that bit between 3:20 and 3:35- the drop in key that coincides with the echo as he says "Let 'em hear your voice (voice/ voice/ voice)...and then the key drop repeats itself as he says "Don't let 'em make you quit now"... Something about it ads a new layer of poignancy to the whole track It's just a small thing, but it makes the whole song for me and I wish it featured on more than just the one occasion...
I love that Hudmo has the integrity to do something original, and avoid the trap of making trap. The production is amazing from the kick choices to the chords. The lyrics are really powerful. The chorus is everything. This is genius.

I don't know what they are trying to say with the clip. It's such a good song it's sad that the clip is basically a montage of very thin beautiful women just standing there. This particular theme is so overdone in the media, it just reminds me of the stuff we're all bombarded with constantly.

I do not expect you to understand, but rather than taking offense based on your emotional attachment to the film or the ideals I am critiquing, perhaps you could consider my comments from an open mind and see their legitimacy for someone other than yourself. If you are affiliated with the producers of the film/song I hope that you can take this as constructive criticism and not personal. I have merely expressed that I find this video disappointing mostly based on its sexism which I have tried to explain, particularly in light of the fact that the lyrics sounded progressive and empowering to both genders.
