Seeing too much negativity on what is a fantastic piece of art. Everyone has their opinions, sure, but a genuine fan of a band would be not only open to change, but respect the artist for doing new things. No band WANTS to stay in the same stagnant place they where years ago. Artists have new things that matter to them, new techniques, influences, ideas. That’s the whole point of creativity, no? It reminds me of the fat guy screaming at the football team that he can do better or they aren’t good enough anymore… Do better then? Just enjoy the evolution. At least love and respect these men for still having the balls and passion for their art, that they risk it all for what means something to them. That is after all, incredibly admirable. Their creativity, passion and talent! Keep going guy! You are doing amazing regardless of criticism! This has to be one of the best Lacrimas Profundere songs I've heard in a long time, the vocals are adventurous, the drums fast as fuck, and the song dark and emotional.
To me that new song and video really are more than just a regular release. It's a statement. It's the door to another world. It's proof of how much you can push your boundaries and still do yourself justice. Maybe even more than ever before because this step was courageous but I love when bands dare to do what they feel is right at that very moment! You only live once! (That is right, all you Karens out there!) For me that song is again intense on a whole new level. The lyrics hit home again and listening to the song very carefully for the first time yesterday, that honestly triggered something in me. The combination of the different voices (it's just one singer btw ;)), the melodic guitars, those intense drums and the lyrics too, that unifies all the reasons why I love music! Also I want to mention that incredibly well-done video. It deserves the utmost respect and attention! There's still so much to discover with all those different stages and I think that process is super exciting! Long story short: I'm incredibly proud of you guys and I totally love the direction you take. Can't wait to celebrate the whole album in September 🔥

It is dark and powerful, it absolutely catched me. It’s pretty hard to find the right words to describe this extraordinary total work of art. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You did it!
Congratulations on the great video! The hard work has paid off. I love the video editing, the camera work and the compositing. Some sequences remind me of my favorite movie. I also like the story and the symbols used in the video. The vocals are amazing as always. Julian is so incredibly versatile in his vocals. The drums are so powerful. I love every single part of it. Well,of course not anyone can do it with so much awesomeness and style as you do! The excitement,looking forward to the new album,couldn't be more intense. Lacrimas is a way of life. I have been a fan of the group since that wonderful "Ave End", it became one of my favorites thanks to Chris' deep voice. I took the change to Rob well, until something got a little lost with "Hope Is Here" but I was glad that they got back on track with Julian and "Bleeding The Stars" pleasantly surprised me. The thing about these new songs is that I feel like the dark gothic rock essence that I enjoy so much is gone, and they seem to have taken on a more "agressive" metalcore sound and it's kind of sad. It's nice that Oliver give him that freedom to guide the style of the group, but these last three songs have been somewhat difficult to process if this is going to be the type of music they will play from now on. I am sorry.
Man, I feel the same way in many aspects! I love Christopher's voice, I got to know the band with the EP Again It's Over and I also enjoyed the 'Rob Vitacca era' a lot and yeah, I felt like Hope is Here was kind of a sub-par album and the formula was getting kinda old. And I also loved the way Julian gave the band new start and I really loved Bleeding The Stars. But I don't mind the direction they took in this song at all, in fact I love it all the same and the songs they've released so far are going in so many different directions that I think it's pretty safe to say that well find some of the classic Gothic sound in the full album as well :)
Now imagine the people who have followed them since the Memorandum, all the evolution that we have been sharing, and if you go back the same way, you will see that each album is different from one another, for me, the concept and favorite album will always be Memorandum , but I accept his evolution, when Chris came out, obviously I felt horrible, I moved away from Lacrimas until Hope is Here, where I noticed the quality of Rob, I started to go back with the albums, the Antiadore is a gem that I had missed for a long time, now with Julian I was surprised by the Bleeding, I missed the guttural vocals, and now, waiting for the new album I know that it will bring excellent vocals and above all excellent riffs by Oliver. I have been a fan since 2005, but the first album I listen was burning a wish, that transition from doom to goth rock just blew my mind, after that every next album was just better and better, then Chris left, but Rob did good as well for 2 albums, but then it started to become more and more like any other band out there, I don't know, for fans like us that has been supporting since so long ago it is just painful.. but at least all those golden albums can still be played on repeat and will never die
The atmosphere here feels so different, yet (to me) fits so well with all you guys have done, also lyrically hitting home like so often, which is why I love a lot of your music. Then the video was on another level, definitely my favorite... And I really like those shots by the water and the build-up from there.
All three songs are majestic! This song really shines with Julians new vocals for keeping a modern sound but also staying true what they were back in the day with Burning: A Wish! So excited for that album. Gonna see you in september in Oberhausen and with the new upcoming album Im even more excited!
Thank you, all the new songs of Lacrimas Profundere resonate in my soul. Here, after analyzing the lyrics, those situations come to my mind when you love a person and appreciate (or this is your close friend), but you have a different understanding of care and involvement. Some people can be really not bothered to care about the feelings and suffering of another, and for them this is in the order of things. It's ok for them, but not for us. Very painful to meet such a kind of situations; but during previous several years I got used to that there is nothing left from some people anymore instead of the curtain of white silence.
What a blast! After playing it a few times now I found the access and I love it so much! I was really curious to see the new video and to hear the new lyrics. And what can I say? „The curtain of white silence“ measured up to my expectations. It is dark and powerful, it absolutely catched me. It’s pretty hard to find the right words to describe this extraordinary total work of art.

Congratulations on the great video! The hard work has paid off. I love the video editing, the camera work and the compositing. Some sequences remind me of my favorite movie. I also like the story and the symbols used in the video. The vocals are amazing as always. Julian is so incredibly versatile in his vocals. The drums are so powerful. I love every single part of it. I still got goose bumps after maybe 10 times watching the video.

Guys, this is fantastic. I can't wait for the new album. I hear echoes of Bleeding the Stars as well as just so much new sonic ground covered here, well done. My favorite track so far.
This is a fuckin' hurricane of most beautiful heartbreak and literal hell in the face of death - totally wiping the floor with my mind and instantly shifting my soul to those staggering spheres of limbo those celestially dark scenes are about!∞🖤𓋹 Of course I anticipated that my beloved favourite band,the kindred spirits I feel connected to at the core of my bleeding heart,will release another masterpiece,even a cinematic experience - my mouth was watering even before the birth of this literal movie. But indeed,all of you guys went the extra mile to create not just another generic music video,but a temptation of senses - offering multiple timelines,up-to-date camera work,an electrifying band performance straight out of the abyss,profound storytelling and the most heart-wrenching growls I've ever gotten to hear. Show me another band that goes as deep as that? You even needed to create a new genre to describe the grandeur,volcanic energy and transcendental revolution 「The Curtain of White Silence」 is bestowing upon us - and "Gothcore" is indeed a matching term to describe the wild fury you're unleashing anno 2022.💀🔥💀 Metalcore,Screamo and highly modern metal elements merging with the sorrowful Goth vibes that have always made Lacrimas a shining obsidian amidst so many bands that are too generic to stand out. Of course I've always loved the old style and I really hope to hear more Dark Rock and Goth Metal as well in the future,but you reinvented everything Lacrimas is about and still stayed true to your principles - even after so many decades of hard work and enchanting art. Yes,you are the proof that no one in this world has to follow the beaten track,but everyone is capable to slough like a serpent. Well,of course not anyone can do it with so much awesomeness and style as you do! The excitement,looking forward to the new album,couldn't be more intense. Lacrimas is a way of life. I have been a fan of the group since that wonderful "Ave End", it became one of my favorites thanks to Chris' deep voice. I took the change to Rob well, until something got a little lost with "Hope Is Here" but I was glad that they got back on track with Julian and "Bleeding The Stars" pleasantly surprised me. The thing about these new songs is that I feel like the dark gothic rock essence that I enjoy so much is gone, and they seem to have taken on a more "agressive" metalcore sound and it's kind of sad. It's nice that Oliver give him that freedom to guide the style of the group, but these last three songs have been somewhat difficult to process if this is going to be the type of music they will play from now on. I am sorry.
Man, I feel the same way in many aspects! I love Christopher's voice, I got to know the band with the EP Again It's Over and I also enjoyed the 'Rob Vitacca era' a lot and yeah, I felt like Hope is Here was kind of a sub-par album and the formula was getting kinda old. And I also loved the way Julian gave the band new start and I really loved Bleeding The Stars. But I don't mind the direction they took in this song at all, in fact I love it all the same and the songs they've released so far are going in so many different directions that I think it's pretty safe to say that well find some of the classic Gothic sound in the full album as well :)
Now imagine the people who have followed them since the Memorandum, all the evolution that we have been sharing, and if you go back the same way, you will see that each album is different from one another, for me, the concept and favorite album will always be Memorandum , but I accept his evolution, when Chris came out, obviously I felt horrible, I moved away from Lacrimas until Hope is Here, where I noticed the quality of Rob, I started to go back with the albums, the Antiadore is a gem that I had missed for a long time, now with Julian I was surprised by the Bleeding, I missed the guttural vocals, and now, waiting for the new album I know that it will bring excellent vocals and above all excellent riffs by Oliver. Cheers!
I have been a fan since 2005, but the first album I listen was burning a wish, that transition from doom to goth rock just blew my mind, after that every next album was just better and better, then Chris left, but Rob did good as well for 2 albums, but then it started to become more and more like any other band out there, I don't know, for fans like us that has been supporting since so long ago it is just painful.. but at least all those golden albums can still be played on repeat and will never die

The atmosphere here feels so different, yet (to me) fits so well with all you guys have done, also lyrically hitting home like so often, which is why I love a lot of your music. Then the video was on another level, definitely my favorite... And I really like those shots by the water and the build-up from there.

All three songs are majestic! This song really shines with Julians new vocals for keeping a modern sound but also staying true what they were back in the day with Burning: A Wish! Thank you, all the new songs of Lacrimas Profundere resonate in my soul. Here, after analyzing the lyrics, those situations come to my mind when you love a person and appreciate (or this is your close friend), but you have a different understanding of care and involvement. Some people can be really not bothered to care about the feelings and suffering of another, and for them this is in the order of things. It's ok for them, but not for us. Very painful to meet such a kind of situations; but during previous several years I got used to that there is nothing left from some people anymore instead of the curtain of white silence.
I think this is one of the most intense songs that we've done an definitelly a track that gets to push the bounderies of what was expected
