- This text of 40 Verses was written by Bhagavan at the request of Muruganar, who wanted a concise synopsis of Ramana’s teaching, and wanted 40 verses to fit a classical Hindu poetic form. Ramana wrote the verses as they came to him, and Muruganar arranged them in a particular order.

Yes, I agree about it perhaps being underestimated. I have listened over and over to this teaching lately since I re-recorded it and it is simply perfect in its pointings. Bhagavan was (of course) able to extract and construct the pith for us and I feel this one text is all one really needs. It is simply perfect understanding and wisdom on display here for all who care to listen deeply to free themselves from bondage.
@@flecha213 I did - I recorded this text over a year ago and it was up on my YT channel but the audio quality wasn't great so that's why I redid it. This one is much better and clearer with less busier music. Glad you have found it and are benefiting from this gem of a teaching.

Thank you Samaneri - I am ever so grateful for all the teachings you put into audio recordings for us all to learn. In my listening to all the many recordings, I have many questions, which I am unable to answer. I feel you might be able to answer them. In some recordings I hear about Samsara and then about reincarnation..Most people whom I have watched passing away in front of me, I saw them like heaving a sigh and in bliss after their last breath. (these were not religious people) It felt like they went to a "happy" place. Then again I wonder if the teachings say unless you achieve Samadhi, you might or will be reincarnated. (Shri Ramana MAharishi) So as many humans do not achieve Samadhi in their lifetime, they will be reincarnated - can this mean reincarnated as animals/insects/ etc... and why does the world population keep growing then? Do only humans believe in incarnation or is it that all living species are aware of it in some way? And then I wonder if all these teachings say, we are one with the Universe, and we are not individuals etc... then why do most Indian sages change the names of their foreign disciples? What's in a name? OR could it be they just cannot pronounce it? What is the reason they give to their followers for this? And then, I have many more questions so is there a place to ask them? Before I end, thank you again for all your compassion and generosity of your time to do these very special recordings.
