With great respect( this could apply most any police show) but I just despise it when they roll out the partner of the cop( male or female) just hates the fact that the police person is never around, especially during long complex, dreadful cases that require the coppers' time. Such and old cliche..the wife, husband, boy or girl friend etc. resents that he/ she isn't there when they know the case requies long hours. No wonder that MORSE was a bachelor.
