Thank you @themartialartsapproach8786 . Yes, I think this makes for a great travel setup. As long as you have a way of heating up water. If you want to do milk drinks, then the company also makes an electric whisk. It doesn’t heat up the milk, but does a pretty good job frothing the milk.
Yes. It gives you feedback on how hard and how fast you should pump. Before getting the gauge I was guessing at those variables. Using the gauge you really get a sense of where that sweet spot is. Once you learn, I don’t think you really need to use it that much anymore, but, figuring out the pressure, and how to try and pump the right way in order to maintain your ideal pressure; well, it’s very helpful to see real-time read-out.
I suppose it moves a bit- but also they made a stand that breaks down and packs flat for portability. Also, I was somewhat awkwardly pumping in the video so as to give the video a clear view of the gauge. Usually when I pump I hold the machine a different way. It’s more stable when I do it that way, but hard to see gauge in video.
I think i accidentally threw it out, or one of my colleagues did. I couldn’t find it. The shipping one ordering a replacement was more than the puck screen, so I just bought a cheaper one off of Amazon.
@@brentroman though, about to order bplus to use with stock basket, never saw you use bplus with stock basket but you have tried but without clip in youtube right? , thk you!
I think Bplus is the best pick screen I’ve used- because the diameter is 51.6 I don’t know if I put a clip on YT of me using Bplus puck screen on stock basket. But normally that is what I use. It works great. No problems. I DID make another video showing all the various accessories and how they work with both stock and pavoni baskets.
nice presentation at the end!
Thanks.
Excellent vid! Do you think this would be a good travel setup?

Does the Pavoni basket still work with the new pressure gauge? :o
I don’t know. I haven’t tried it yet.
Just got my pressure gauge… tried using it with 51mm IMS basket.. doesn’t screw on well to the gauge
You can file the lip down, and then it screws down nice and tight 👍
Feel like the picopresso still moves too much even with the stand during pumping action…. Surely they can make it more rigid
