Malcolm Merlyn is my favorite character in "Arrow" and really shows John Barrowman's acting skills. This video made me love Malcolm even more and made him seem even more hardcore. Great job!

I think you've managed to capture the essence of Malcolm Merlyn, seductive, devilish, strong, and seriously warped. He's almost the dark reflection of Oliver Queen. There are so many points on which they connect with so many others that only mirror each other. Case in point, their bows. Malcolm uses a top of the line compound action bow while Oliver uses a hand constructed recurve. Malcolm spends the money to have the best equipment while Oliver buys good equipment then modifies it to suit him or builds it from scratch. If Oliver's bow is damaged, he can fix it, even rebuild it if need be. Malcolm just buys another one,

This was an Absolutely Amazing tribute for My Third Favorite Villain on Arrow.
Wowzah, I just spent hours to re-find this video, the song still sends chills down my spine. I met him personally multiple times, including this year in June in Germany during a very VIP meeting with just a few people there, got to talk to him on an entirely different level. And I swear, it took all my will power not to jump at him. He really is AWESOMELY HANDSOME no camera makeup needed. Kind and so strong. I took every opportunity to hug him during our photo sessions and he gave me some of the best advice I heard in life. He really listens and astonishes me in the best ways. To quote the song you used, it fits what I did "Again and and again I'm gonna try to reach you, over and over until the day I meet you" And to me the meaning is proved in life. I was hospitalized after some bad turbulence during my flight to meet him again, but the day of the meeting I was running around the comic con like the flash. John Barrowman is THE BEST!!!!!!!!

I love Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow he is an amazing character and so good looking i mean its John Barrowman that guy just never ages really he looks the same FABULOUS AND HOT. I just couldn't stop staring at him I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Hes the Best character. Im only watching Arrow because of him really. I find it strange in this show that he is more like Lex Luthor than he is like slade...he's supposed to be more like slade...but here he's lex..
i guess cuz they already HAD slade in it, they had to make him different..also, he fits the archenemy better if hes more like lex then.
merlyn is a seriously underrated villain that i have never heard of until arrow and green arrow villains top ten lists...i would have never heard of him otherwise.
