If here after Tua injury, will try to get something up later tonight
Brian Sutterer MD thanks for the update. I just saw the news and wanted to check your channel!
Just what I came for doc, you’re the best!
Love the dedication to us. We appreciate it and truly are learning! Brought you up in an interview for an internship at an orthopedic, sports medicine clinic (Steadman Hawkins Foundation)
Brian Sutterer MD Can you also go over Kawhi and his left knee contusion and how long it might take to recover?
@@MrWolfxman he won't recover. He has quadriceps tendinopathy which is chronic and is the reason he needs to load manage in order to preserve his knees and lengthen his career.
A crumpled background isn't going to stop this guy from getting out his knowledge.
Has more of a watermark look, I don't mind it.
@@troywilson8805 Same, didn't even notice it until he mentioned it and even then I just thought it looked more interesting than the normal gray slate background
Was anyone else touching their own shoulder as he was explaining it?
Well I mean i was touching myself...
@@Dubadubadu123 Is that what you were doing while I was touching your shoulder.
I have a 50% tear lol. Just had MRI. Pain is terrible at night.
Due Season sorry that happened. I have this from my MRI
IMPRESSION:
Supraspinatus low-grade partial thickness articular surface tearing with central propagation along the intrasubstance. Findings superimposed on insertional tendinopathy which extends into the anterior infraspinatus.
Are you opting for non surgery? How’d yours happen?
Vehicle Virals I am now lol
you shouldn't have point out the background i didn't even see it :P
Bro, your channel is amazing :
it's scientific, entertaining and educating at the same time.
To combine the suit and tie doctor aproach and NBA is genius.
Questions : Would you consider covering old injuries from the past, like Michael Jordan broken foot in 1985 ?
Or MMA, like George St Pierre ACL replacement ?
The background is...like is always been: grey with pictures and words coming in and out lol most of us are here for the knowledge you provide, and we, I thank you for that since I'm in the medical field as well.
King Juli en it helps me since I’m in university aspiring to become a PA
Yo Brian your notification reminded me of the game thanks 👊
The background looks even more dope lol
I love your content! Thank you for making this video.
Love your videos I see your videos on every single injury keep it up bro
Can you do Kevin Hart's back injury
Was it even real? Seems like fake news... a distraction
@@willm3027 dude he almost died, fake news? fucking idiot
Lol
That may be a stretch as he is a sports medicine doctor. Would love to see it though!!
U have amazing content my man. As a pro athlete my self I find it very interesting how you break down certain injuries. You’re like the web MD for athletes lol keep up the great work. ✊🏾
I had a fall in which all my weight went into my shoulder and had bursitis (The inflammation of the bursae, which is the fluid filled pads above the joint which acts as a shock absorber) and a small partial supraspinatus muscle tear that didn't require sugery but a ton of rehab. This explains a lot about it! Thanks Doc!!
A 'notification bell' subscriber here. Keep up the awesome videos!
did ur shoulder make cracking noises when u moved it up and down? because i got this since we made this really weird stretching in PE where we laid on our shoulder. It only hurts when i overdo the movement
Hey Brian. I most definitely thought I had an injured rotator cuff and this video confirmed that. I’ll be going to the doctor now. Thanks
Great info!
Good video thanks
love the background
Dear brian, i love al these video's sincd they help me understand more about my own body and how it operates in sports. I have one question though. How does muscle size (how trained a muscle is) affect the possibilty of having injuries to that specific muscle?
Can you talk about what might be happening with Anthony Davis's shoulder?
Talk about thiago santos’ injury at ufc 239, it would be nice
Wow, very informative,. Thanks doc, hope to see a video like this on stephen curry's hand injury,. Keep up 😁
This is fantastic. So many questions Doc, so many questions? I'm a former dI and struggling like hell. Going into the PG surgery on 5/7. I have played forever, still play and hope to return. Would love to chat!
dude! so with all these videos, are you leaning towards sports medicine as you subspecialty?
Not even a conference can stop this guy. Great meeting you today man!
Haha thanks! I recorded and edited this a long time ago in anticipation of his return
Haha that makes sense. I was wondering how you flew with a backdrop 😆
This is on my next anatomy test thanks doc
U shoudnt mention the background. I wasnt noticing, now i cant stop but to notice
He should make an injury explained vid on the background lmao
He had an amazing debut!!!
Can you go more in-depth for the labrum tear please? :)
Hey can you do one about the pro slayer Paul Rodriguez?
Diontae Johnson just got lit up by a browns DB Randall then blood started coming out of his ear can you explain this?
Can you make a video about how the Rotator Cuff or labrum heals without surgery like how you did for the ankle sprain injury video? Thanks!
doc so professional 😭😭😭
Do the one about tua hip wall fracture
33 points 9 boards :)
If possible could you do the Sidney crosby/desean jackson core injury/athletic pubalgia both had it recently within the last few days
Hey Brian, is it common to see tears in the rotator cuffs of both shoulders at age 17? I've been dealing with pain that's gotten worse over time exactly where you described it since age 13
Every time when doc have a pictures or explaining about the areas of injuries, that's the part of the body that hurts me when watching 😂
Anyone waiting for the Tua video?
I landed awkwardly on outstretched arm after going for a layup. Dislocated my shoulder, had an MRI done which showed partial tear of my supraspinatus and labrum. good to see a video explaining it all because my doctors didnt lol.
Can you do a video about Zack Collins most recent injury (dislocated shoulder)
He needs to do a video on Avery bradleys leg injury like so he can see please
Yo! Every NBA injury I see I think of Lonzo "take care of your body"
hey, i know i quite a work and not so interesting, but could you talk about the labrum repair? i have a similar injury so i wanted to understand a little bit more. great vid as always
I had a traumatic subescapular partial tear, and it is still hurting, it's nice to relate
i do the YTWL exercise. Will that help prevent cronic injury???
I ain’t even notice the backdrop till you said something lol
I have a large partial thickness tear of the supraspinatus, over 50%. I’m getting surgery, but I’m finishing out basketball season before I get the surgery. I was wondering if the tear can get larger if I continue to play on it? I also grace another question, I had my MRI confirmed by 2 radiologist and shoulder specialist and they confirmed it’s torn but I don’t have the same pain or symptoms and other people say they have when it’s torn, I can’t throw a baseball anymore but it doesn’t hurt me when I play basketball or do routine things throughout the day, the only time I feel pain is when I do weights or do a specific motion across my body.. I just don’t know if the surgery is necessary. If you could reply and give me an opinion that would mean a lot !
Can you please make a suggestion for this? I’m seeing a PT weekly and they think I can heal without surgery or invasive treatments. One ortho said 1-2 years; I saw on the internet that 6 months is possible. Can I still do push ups and neutral grip pull ups, dips, calisthenics curls (like Australian pull ups), etc.?
Thanks!! I appreciate your content and subbed

What are your thoughts on a grade 3 AC joint separation. Is it better to surgically repair in an athlete or leave the deformity alone ?
could we get a diontae johnson (Pittsburgh Steelers WR) concussion video? i know concussions are pretty straight forward and most of us already know what it is, but more in particular could you talk about the bleeding from the ear that was associated with his injury? thanks.
Can you make a video about Avery Bradley’s injury?
Can u do Danny trevathans injury was kinda gruesome tho
It makes me think about the subluxations, I would be interested to know some more about these injuries
I’m a pre med student and it’s amazing how you describe these injuries and conditions in such detail!! I can’t wait to go to medical school
You ain't getting in
@@a1738k just because you didn't doesn't mean others can't stay in your lane
@@nerdymen1430 Fam, I'm in my 2nd year in a Canadian med school, you stay in yo lane cuz these pre-med innocent lollipops are delusional
A Kapoor 😂😂😂 WOW so negative
@@ezellstewart3894 Just being real witchu
Can you do a video on tua tagovailoa’s injury?
Can repeat non-traumatic shoulder dislocation/sublaxations be treated without surgery most of the time? I’ve had issues in basketball where I’d simply go for a drunk and it would partially dislocate for no reason. I would have to bend over with my arm hanging down to wait for it to just go back into place.
Does Thoracic Outlet Syndrome impact or exacerbate rotator cuff or shoulder injuries in general?
Would you mind doing a video on Kyrie's shoulder impingement? He's going to be out for the 3red straight game Wednesday. Is this something that will fully heal? Thanks
We need information on Tua doc, break it down!!!
hey man, i know this probably isnt in your wheelhouse but do you think it would be possible to cover Sidney Crosbys hernia injury?
Can you ecplain how chouking on your tung is possible
Do Avery Bradley’s injury!
1. Please do another video about the labral tear, and maybe connect it to labral tears of the past like dwayne wade and dwight howard.
2. You can use a stretched cloth background to avoid the crumpling, but either way , crumpled background or not your content is what matters, and if you didn't say anything about the background I doubt many people would have seen it.
the background is ok, it looks fine. what didnt look fine was the Browns/Steelers game
I tore my left rotator cuff a few years back on the job.....Holy Shit it hurt and I had two surgeries, arm was in a sling for 5 month and it was horrible.
I’d like to see a video about the Diontae Johnson concussion dude had blood coming out of his ear
Please do tua's injury
Any concerns about dunking? Hang on the rim? For PG especially. Looks pretty violent at times.
Doc can make video injury of gordon Hayward new injury?
Thanks
Could you do one on Sidney Crosby and His sports hernia surgery?
you should look at kevin huerters injury he got recently, its a weird shoulder strain or something?
Could you talk about Avery Bradley's hairline tear on his leg?
Do Tua's injury!!
Do tua togoviloas hip injury
THE BEST ERA!!! #PG13
Need to hear about avery bradleys hairline fracture 😁
Can you do a video about how close Mason Rudolph was to getting a very serious injury?
Would be interesting to see how close or why mason could have gotten injured or possibly killed
Tua's hip?
Where's the Tua video?
Didn’t even notice
I already that he has a rotator cuff tear because of how the tape is fixed and his performance. And i also have the same problem.
His ring makes me so sad T T
My left shoulder has been hurting for years then it suddenly stopped without treatment. Now, my right shoulder is the one that's hurting
do tua whenever we get more news
I think this is what’s going on with Anthony Davis’ Shoulder🤔
Explain Anthony Davis injury
Tight supraspinatus and subscapularis caused by wearing heels, as wearing heels makes the shoulders tilt forwards and inwards.
Can you do a video on my heart injury from my ex girlfriend breaking up with me on Christmas ?
Are you going to do a report on MASON RUDOLPH HIT to the head WITH A HELMET? Also DONTAE JOHNSON HIT FROM HELMET TO HELMET.
Do pg13's leg
Dwight howard's back injury ?
Maybe this is not your expertise or too late but could you do a video about what could have happened when Myles Garrett hit mason Rudolph with the helmet. People are saying he could have even died if the crown hit him.
Is this same as Anthony Davis shoulder injury?
joint
All I can pay attention to is the background 😕
I would watch an entire video just on the kind of tape that he had on his shoulder. I am so skeptical that actually works. It really seems like it wouldn’t. But I’m just a dummy, so...
I've actually done two about it! One specifically about Paul george last spring, and another just on the tape. Look through my vids for one about Paul george taping
@@BrianSuttererMD I'll give them a watch! Thanks for the reply, Doc!
Crosby's hernia surgery?
Can you imagine giving a fuck about the background when an actual doctor is dropping knowledge like this
PG is gonna drop 26 points & 9 rebounds and will have 4 free throws. you heard it here first boys
