    Really cool! To give people some idea of what those numbers mean. 10 Nm is like holding a 1 meter stick straight out with 1 kg at the end of it. More specific to this machine: That handle looks approximately 3 inches thick.
    If you'd hang 10 kg in a strap along a side of that handle, you'd get something like:
    (1,5 inch radius = 0.0381 meters)*(10kg * 9.81m/s^2) = 3.74 Nm
    Which means: A score of 20 Nm, would be like hanging a strap with 53.5 kg off of it! Super impressive!
    Mateusz' 30 Nm, would be like hanging a strap off one side of the handle loaded with 80 kg, which is mind-blowing!🤯 Get that man into armwrestling ASAP!
    EDIT: Also keep in mind: Since two hands are used, this actually measures the weakest of their hands, which is the limiting factor (See Newton's 3rd law). So essentially; Mateusz has at least 80 kg wrist-roll strength in EACH hands! And If Devon actually tried, you wouldn't see the strength in his right hand, you'd see the the strength in his left.

    • @ChrisJaesun
      @ChrisJaesun Рік тому +32

      It would measure the strength of the weaker hand, not the average of both (which makes this even more impressive). The stronger hand will only exert as much force as the weaker hand can handle because otherwise the weaker hand would just pry open. If the sensor were bolted to something that would be a different story.

      Examples like these make it more difficult to explain to people coming into the sport . Numbers on certain apparatuses and gimmics like this one depicted in the video DO NO TRANSLATE / DO NOT TRANSFER on the table . It's like saying , that just because a strongman has a very strong pinch he would beat a professional boxer that's like 1/2 the weight. No , the answer is no . Combat sports don't show in numbers but ONLY on the table against the opponent/ training partner.

    Alex and Roman, its funny how everyone asks how it works? I mean just me, as an observer could see exactly what it is, and how it works, and knows to press it against your leg or body for leverage for best score. Like opening a canned jar of grandmas whatever, she had stored😂😂
