On the ice he is a rat.. But off the ice he is someone completely different and he does amazing things for kids.Huge respect for that
@@Gibbs-rq4yg But he owns that fact. Doesn't mind or care. realising he has "that punchable face" and makes it work for him on the ice. Meanwhile he's also a super nice guy like most people who play the game.
Love him or hate him, Marchand loves to have fun and taking that kid's phone and recording a message for them was pretty funny.
EDIT - Props to the Ducks for doing what they do with the 21st Duck program. Side note: Wild Wing is my favorite mascot to use in NHL Threes.
I said it once and ill say it again, hockey players are the best athletes. Hands down.

Re: The Oshie play, Jaromir Jagr did almost the exact same thing for me in 1992 when he was still almost just arriving here. Wore a Pens jersey to Joe Louis arena for a Pens/Wings game
When i was 7 i was on the ice with all the Wings legends Gordie, Ted, Sid Terry etc.

Im always bitter towards the ducks because they beat my Sens in 07, but I've never seen what they did for Angelique during covid before and you cannot exemplify putting the game aside for appreciation better than that. Hope we get a rematch in 3 years Go Sens Go.
If I could meet any NHL player in the league, I would want to meet Trevor Zegras, and ask him if he could sign my copy of NHL 23. Man that would be so cool
