- We watched and read many mixed reviews on UA-cam and Google about the Ocean One Bar & Grill inside Miracle Mile Shops, Planet Hollywood, LV. We decided to try it ourselves, ordering various options from their $5.99 value lunch menu: Mexican wings, Mahi Mahi Sandwich, Wet Burrito, and the Italian Breaded Chicken Cutlet. In addition, there is a deal of 3 cocktails for $12 - all of these offers seem like a bargain, yet watch to see if we think this is actually a waste of your money, rather than savings.
Whether you're traveling to Vegas for vacation, Raiders game, Golden Knights match, or Formula 1 race, we're here to preview and offer our advice on where to eat in Las Vegas.

My husband and I were In Vegas this past week and ate a few times at Ocean One. We had mostly good experiences with the food. At lunch the fries with the burger special were dried out but the burger was very tasty. My husband had a salmon fillet over a mixed salad with a mango vinaigrette dressing that was very nice. The evening fries were fresher and very nice. We visit every year and always make at least one visit to Ocean one.

We did a video featuring this place a while back. We actually enjoyed it. For the most part. I'm concerned you had a bad day there. I would definitely give them a second chance on a different day. I also find that when the alcohol is cheap like that it's best to just order me a whiskey neat. LOL
Great tip for ordering drinks! There's so many places in Vegas we'd like to try so not sure we'll make it back. It really was horrible.

I agree. I've been there numerous times and have had a good experience. The bartender that made our drinks made it extra strong and we had a good buzz after the 2nd drink.
Probably one of the worst places to eat in Vegas. They lost my order once and they treated me like garbage. They acted like it was MY fault they screwed up.

My daughter and I stopped there for drinks and a quick bite as we had big dinner plans. We got the mahi tacos and spinach and artichoke dip to share. Tacos were edible, but the dip was tasteless paste. Next time we will just hit the ABC store and pick up some snacks. Even at cheap prices, it just wasn’t worth it.

😊😊😊the burger and the nachos for $5.99 were pretty good for the money. Stick with those and you will be fine. Considering what fast food costs today . Burger and Nachos are OK

I believe you guys and can see for myself on your images. Oddly enough, this is the first UA-cam review video that did not rave about the quality and price of the food. Perhaps you need to go when it is much busier and the food had not been sitting around too long to die.
Thank you for the honesty, if it is not too much to ask for, give it another shot during the busy time instead of in midday when the kitchen staff are usually as the second string team.

This was actually our second visit. We had gone months before late night and it was so bad, we sent food back. This video was supposed to be a redemption...
That being said, we might try again but would only publish if it's better to be fair

😆 we're actually originally from Oregon. If you know anyone from PNW, you know a complaint.
Honestly, we usually like the food we share on the channel. Given the mixed reviews on this place, we doubled our orders to try and get anything we could say something positive about.
Yes. The drinks are from the well and pretty weak, but we found some good items on the $5.99 menu. The burger was decent as were the nachos. For the price, it was a good value, but not as great as it may seem. Try La Salsa Cantina around the corner for some good inexpensive grub.😅
We saw another UA-cam review of the burger and skipped it intentionally.
While they didn't seem to mind, it looked gray and mushy 🤮
We've had so many good hamburgers lately, it'd be unfair to compare
once I was out for lunch and mom and I both ordered Mahi sandwiches. They were dry and tough like yours and we both sent them back and got burgers, lol

Okay so this was hilarious! The looks on your faces. Those refried beans looked like a pile of dong lol ... so sad that some folk probably liked the joint. Out of towners! And most likely easy to please.. I would have rather went to White Castle. Yummy! Which we do every year . ❤

Visited there a few weeks ago when in Vegas and food was awful 😮 we ordered eggs Florentine and it was half cold. I bitched enough to where they took half price off. Would never go back there though.

Pro tip! Don't go on vacation to Vegas and eat cheap food; you can eat that garbage at home. To save money, eat off strip at places like Vegas China Town.

You ordered the wrong items. The steak is actually not bad, mine was tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. It comes with some stir fried vegetables that were crisp and delicious, and mashed potatoes which weren’t bad.
The burger is not bad either. The Mahi Tacos are ok, not great but decent.

That looks like prison food. For decent food on the cheap, I'm either heading downtown, or to Ellis Island, or South Point. Anything center strip is either hideously overpriced, hot garbage, or both.

I am not a fan of this review video. This place isn't as bad as you make it sound in my opinion. And honestly, for the prices, it's a pretty decent meal. What did you expect for the pricing? You two act like you're Gordon Ramsey in this video. And then you knock the name of the restaurant and compare it to bad movies on Netflix or Amazon. That right there discredits your video. As I continue to watch, you say... It's so dry it's drying out your throat. What? What does that even mean? How does dry food dry out your throat? I have no affiliation with this restaurant but I will say they don't deserve your ignorant review. I'm all about honest reviews but it can be done with class and respect... which you both have none of.
